Tokyo Japanese Steak House & Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Belton

I placed a phone order for two rolls and some teriyaki at 5:46 and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived to the restaurant at 6:15 and paid and was told it would be ready in a few minutes. At 6:30 I asked if my food would be ready soon and was told they needed five more minutes. At 6:45 I asked again when my order would be ready and was told the rolls were ready but they needed 15 more minutes for the rest of the order. Never was there an apology or explanation. Many other customers who were also waiting were crowded into the foyer, and others were told to wait in their car because their orders were not ready. I eventually asked for a refund (which was reluctantly given) over an hour from when my order was placed and I left with no food.

I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant until they hire sufficient staff and train them to attend properly to...

We went to this wonderful restaurant on a Friday night just early enough to get a table. The staff is extremely friendly and made us feel at home. My son ordered a fancy foreign soda and had to ask how to open it. They were super nice about it. I got the hibachi chicken special and my son got a Bento box with California roll and pork. We ordered the crab Rangoon as an appetizer. The sauce that comes with the appetizer was fantastic! Our specials each came with salad and soup. It was very delicious. The portions are gigantic for the entrées. It is a very clean place. The serving plates and bowls are very pretty and even though the water cups were plastic they didn’t look mangled from being washed 1 million times. I highly recommend this restaurant. My brother and I have been going here for years to eat. They always greet us very friendly and quickly. The entire experience they are always checking on everyone and tending to people’s needs. I have never seen such care and respect at other places. The food has always been great and never a disappointment. Once they forgot to leave something off due to my allergies and they quickly fixed it. I would often hear others say great things about the food to them. I have read a couple of poor reviews and found them skeptical. Then I look at other reviews done by those posters and there tends to be a pattern of hate or comments at many places.
