This was one of my worst experiences in a while.

I used to come to this place a decade ago when I was in school. It was a good and okayish place back then, but I frequently came here. Usually busy for lunch. Since I was in the area, I wanted to visit a place where I used to go. Today, it was not as busy as it used to be.

Oh boy, has this place fallen.

First, the lunch buffet starts at 11:30 am, but we didn't get to start until 11:45. There was an older couple, the wife who was making sushi and the husband that was handling the buffet, seating and drinks. Another staff member shows up around noon. It was not well organized and pretty chaotic at the beginning.

Second, while they were taking off the plastic wrap for the sushi, a piece of fish fell off, and without washing his hands, the guy (who had some noticeably darker fingers from setting up the buffet) used his bare hands to put the fish back on the rice. That was pretty off putting. Also, the sushi slices were small and rice was hard.

Third, we found a short black hair in the miso soup. When we prompted the server about it, she stared at my wife's longer hair and said sorry and walked away. To them, that was supposed to be the end of it? We lost all of our appetite from that point and we only finished half of a single plate. Gave up and began walking towards the door.

This place has lost its flair and its basic knowledge of cleanliness. We were even skeptical how clean any of the utensils were.

Safe to say, we were not happy even paying for the buffet and we will never be coming back to this place. So sad that everything ended this way. My memories of the time I was in school have been...

Have to say I've been a local in this neighborhood for years, and I've been enjoying the incredible food at this Korean restaurant since I was a kid. The experience here is always fantastic.

The food is the star of the show. The flavors are authentic and mouthwatering, a testament to the skill and dedication of the kitchen staff. From their signature dishes to the daily specials, each bite is a delight that keeps me coming back for more.

What sets this place apart is not only the delicious food but also the owner's unwavering commitment to cleanliness. The restaurant is always impeccably clean, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for diners. You can tell that the owner takes great pride in maintaining a spotless environment for everyone to enjoy.

Recently, I noticed some negative reviews from other customers, and I must respectfully disagree. In my years of dining here, I've consistently had wonderful experiences. The service has always been friendly, the food consistently delicious, and the cleanliness is truly commendable.

If you're looking for an authentic Korean dining experience with consistently fantastic food and a spotlessly clean environment, don't let those negative reviews deter you. This restaurant has been a neighborhood favorite for years, and for good reason. Give it a try, and I'm sure you'll be as delighted as I have been for all...

I have been stopping by here for years for lunch. This is probably the best Sushi/ Korean lunch buffet in the area. For $13 you get unlimited Bulgogi, tempura, salad, Nigiri and sushi rolls. The place is located right behind the 7 Eleven on Route 1 by the MVA. Food has always been consistent and the sushi is always fully stocked when I arrive. I do like how they have some vegetarian options as well and the place is always clean. They just implemented a new portion control system by asking diners to use a small plate when getting sushi from the bar. The poor old sushi lady couldn't keep up. Best tip here is to arrive right around 11:30 if you plan on dining here just so you don't get the scraps from the government employees that rush...

I treated my immediate family for Labor Day here. This place is expensive and I likely gave them a tip on top of a tip since I detest receipts in general. Since I hate paper so much I probably ended up spending more than I needed $190 bill + tips. The BBQ was generally good (Combo C) although I don’t think it was good enough for the price. This place functions as if it operates in downtown DC with city rent. It’s just high. It’s not fine dining either. For what it’s worth, the boneless short rib was good. The seafood casserole was bitter. I shouldn’t be able to taste the bitterness. The crab in it tasted frozen or old. The prawns were sweet. I would recommend the BBQ. Skip that casserole.

Came here for lunch Sunday. Food was just okay. We ordered the Galbi, Seafood Sundubu Jijae and Mul-Naengmyeom. I thought we would get to cook the Galbi at our table but they brought it out pre-cooked and cut up in big chunks—overall the meat was too tough/chewy. The Sundubu was not not that great, the tofu was cut up in big chunks and when I tried to mash it up into smaller pieces, you can tell the tofu was not soft texture. The Mul-Naengmyeom (cold buckwheat noodles) was pretty decent. For drinks, we got the Jinro Chamosul Soju bottles—they came “slush” so the soju was very cold, ended up tasting pretty good! Service here was okay.
