Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Belvidere Township

I came in tonight to pick up two pizzas and I ordered it as curbside pick up. When I called the young man named Jack had answered the phone. He told me I had to drive around to the window. I distinctively told him that I ordered it at curbside pick up and that is where my car is parked. He proceeded to tell me that they don’t do that. I told him that I’m sitting at the curbside pick up and that’s where I would like my pizza delivered. I gave him my name from my order and then he hung up on me came out with my pizzas And had a very bad attitude. And then come to find out as it was driving off because I had ordered the taco pizza. I did not get the sour cream so I had to do a U-turn and go back to the drive-through window and asked Jack what comes with the taco pizza ? His response was did you not get the sour cream? Well Jack if I had gotten it, I would not have had to make the U-turn to come back you neglected to bring that out along with the pizza. This is not my first encounter with this Pizza Hut and their employees with an attitude Because they don’t want to go outside. If you are not doing curbside pick up then I would suggest you remove the signs out front of your store. Very, very poor Customer Service. It’s really sad because I order from Pizza Hut quite a bit. I cannot express enough how impressed I am with this location. I live in Cherry Valley and I haven’t ordered Pizza Hut in awhile. So I wanted a quick pizza so I got on the app( which had drastically changed since I last ordered) and got the stuffed pizza deal. I ordered breadsticks as well and paid. After that it said it would be 78 minutes which at first I was like wow they must be super busy and just assumed it was because it was Friday and Valentine’s Day as well. It wasn’t until my order wasn’t updating that I looked at the location i ordered from and realized it was the Belvidere location and that the one usually by my house had closed. Just when I was ready to cancel the order I was notified it was on its way. Once the driver got here ( bless his heart) I apologized profoundly and explained which he said really it was no big deal. I had tipped him through the app but gave him a few more dollars cash. The driver was so sweet and never once did they cancel my order or were rude to me. And the food was pretty good too. The quality of the food has gone down over past years.

Me, my husband, and our daughter went inside for a bite to eat on 2-26-22. We were greeted right away and seated at a table. It took 20 minutes for someone to take our order (which we thought was odd considering we were the only guests in the restaurant). We received our food and it was horrible. The amount of grease/oil on the bottom of our pizza was absolutely disgusting! The pizza was very sweet with a bad after taste. My daughter, who is 4, could not finish her pizza.

Aside from the food, the restaurant was also dirty. Under our table was some sort of old sticky spill and dust along the table base and seating edge.
