We got a coupon via text and wanted to use it. We set our GPS and went looking for a TJ's in an unfamiliar town. We drove by it twice because all of the exterior lights were off and the interior lights were very dim. We thought they were closed, but an "OPEN" sign was on. We pulled up and there was a car at the drive up, so we figured the outside might be open. The car ahead of us didn't move for a long time. We were about to drive away when they pulled forward. The menu board was not lit, so we just got the coupon item (BOGO item). The text coupon seemed like a mystery to the staff, so they could not give me a total until I pulled ahead. The two of them discussed it for a while. When they finally figured it out, it took a long long time for them to make it. So first of all the Easiest thing is when an order say NO lettuce pretty simple it's 90 degrees outside and our food was cold when we got it heck the cheese wasn't even melted on the tacos. So I called to complain and I asked I'm a polite voice but dissatisfied I asked if they could read orders because no lettuce is one of the easiest things to understand the youngan on the other end told me to "take my tone down or he wouldn't help me" I work in hospitality so I wasn't being disrespectful or rude HIM however very rude I will NEVER eat there again I have been warned by others to not go there for this same reason so instead of dealing with the local business going to go to cooperate this is not the first time this has happened I'm not sure if the employees do not care or what is going on but new retraining needs to be had on dealing with orders and customersa little cleaner store would be...
Read moreWent to TJs in Bemidji for the first time today. The service was horrible (the person who took my order literally gave my change then turned around to complain about how he deserved his break and a cigarette), my burrito was ice cold and the chicken was rubbery. I only ate half the burrito because it was gross, then ended up throwing it up 2 hours later because of what I assume is food poisoning because the chicken was not hot. I will never go back there again, not only because of the food, but because I was told one of the workers is doing heroine on the job and carelessly leaving their paraphernalia around and the owners won't do...
