Alley Dogz — Restaurant in Bend

I’m now 4 years into a planted based diet. My lady got us some VEGAN corndogs while I was working, I get a text shortly after saying “I’m excited for you to have the corn dog. It’s bomb . com” So I start eating this thing, I’m half way through and I realize I haven’t put any sauce on it like I normally would, and that it’s just simply great by itself. This is saying a lot coming from a picky vegan... Hands down, the best plant based corn dog I’ve ever had.

By the way, to you vegans reading this, they also have vegan grilled cheese, I like mine with the jalapeños in it!

Just don’t scream our vegan battle cry too loud when you’re so excited about the food, it might scare the meat eaters around the...

I got the alley dog tonight and have to say it was underwhelming. Not bad but not even in the spectrum of great. I figured a kart with such a small menu would have some house made mustard or sauerkraut or relish or something. They aren't making their buns and they aren't producing the links so why not a bit more effort from the culinary team? Its your opportunity to shine beyond just buying good quality product. You have a good tasting hot dog and a good standard bun why not set it off with actual gourmet toppings? All around though tasted like a NY city corner hot dog....

Look, here is the deal. If you want a great hot dog in bend you just come here. The crew over here is whipping up some tasty dog combos and they all are amazing. The care and attention to the flavor profiles goes higher then just hot dogs on a bun. I had a Seattle corn dog and some fries and was good to go. Johnny took super good care of me and prepared my food in a fashion that made me feel like he truly cares about the product he is putting out. If you are looking through and see some lower star ratings here.... Chances are it was a one off situation. This place kills...
