Really bummed with our experience. New to the area and tried this salon based on reviews. It’s my daughters birthday weekend (turning 15) and for the first time I let her get acrylic nails. We’ve not done it before as it’s generally not in the budget. She was so excited, spent hours on Pinterest looking at ideas. She decided on a set where each nail was a different pastel color. While I was receiving a basic pedicure they sat my daughter down. She showed the guy what she wanted, and he said ombré? She thought he meant those different colors like she showed him, but ombré. Having never had nails put on before she didn’t know the process and didn’t realize until the end that he wasn’t doing what she asked at all. He gave her an ombré French manicure. Which was soooo far from what she showed him, and to make matters worse, my daughter is bi-racial with brown skin and he did a super pink colored French manicure, like you’d expect to see on a white person. She was too timid to say anything while we were there, but as soon as we got in the car she broke down. This was only going to be a one time thing and I told her it would damage her original nails, which she was willing to do in order to have the ones she wanted just one time. But now she has old white lady style nails and knows she damaged her real nails for acrylics that aren’t what she asked for. To boot, he didn’t even push her cuticles back or trim them or anything.
What’s worse is that they charged me $94 for her manicure and my pedicure. I chose the $30 pedicure which means hers was $64. On their website it says the high school student rate is $33 for an acrylic set. Even if you add for the ombré, which she didn’t want in the first place, how do we get to $64? I asked when paying if that was the student rate and they said yes. When I got home I doubled checked the student rate and sure enough, it was supposed to be $33.
Getting her nails done was supposed to be the finishing touch on her birthday weekend. Instead she ended up in tears. I have no idea why the guy didn’t just do what she showed him, and instead gave her a pink French manicure against her brown skin, but it sucks that I paid $100 for my kid to end up crying on her birthday.
And my pedicure was truly the most basic one I’ve ever had. I pretty much paid them $30 to just paint...

A lot of pressure to buy more and get services (that should be included) for an extra charge for both pedi and mani.
I wanted the basic deluxe pedi - was told I should get a $95 pedi instead. Pointed again to the deluxe and was asked if I wanted the next level up. So I asked if I could get the deluxe pedi or not - he reluctantly said yes.
Good service and I liked the results by the man who started the process and the woman who did the polish.
Then my appointment for a fill of buildable gel became a new full set of acrylics. I did not want that and felt pressured by the man who started filing and peeling off the gel I had. He was absolutely rude and intimidating. I would never have him perform a service on my family or friends.
I was moved to another chair and a lady began removing the nails with an ARTIFICIAL NAIL TIP - slicing between the gel and my nail bed. It was so painful I told her to stop. I asked if she could soak them off. She rushed the process, burning me with the mechanical nail file. She then hurried to clip my natural nails off and I wanted to leave. Being a Saturday night, there isn’t anywhere I could go the next day and I am not able to go in during work hours this next week. So… I stayed.
I was then moved to a third spot and the lady who did my pedi gel polish came over to do the full set (again, that I had not wanted). I should have been done and out by this time for the appointments I booked. I thought the rest would go well…
Nnnnnope. I was charged TEN DOLLARS for “clipping cuticles” which turned out to be her using the drill to file them back, no trimming was done.
Religion was pushed on me and I felt this is not the time or place for it, regardless of my beliefs.
I was shocked to be charged for the “removal” that I did not want and the painful method they used.
The results were great. I did ask about the advertised cash discount and they tried to get around it. I did leave a tip for both techs who did a good job, though I did not appreciate the pressure or conversation.
I’m bummed. Was really hoping I found a place to return, but I don’t like to leave somewhere feeling worse than when...
Read moreMade appt for two pedicures for my 70 yr old mom and I. We were NOT given any time to pick a nail color and instead bossed to take a seat in spa chairs before choosing a color (I assume this is how they pressure customers to just pick a gel color). Then I was repeatedly asked and bullied to get the more expensive pedicures - after I made the appt for the two basic pedicure and stated clearly multiple times (more than three times) that I wanted the basic pedicure. After that argument, my nail technician whined and complained that I wasn’t getting a gel pedicure and asked me why I was getting polish repeatedly. Finally I got him to accept the fact that I was getting a regular polish pedicure. I had not picked a color yet because we were rushed and not taken care of the second we walked in the doors. I had my mom pick “any shade of pink” for me when she was given the opportunity to select a color because my person wouldn’t let me get up to pick a color. Both nail technician were rude, impatient and careless. My moms pedicure took 15 minutes and her nails chipped immediately. I didn’t pay for the “deluxe” pedicure- However , I still spent $85 on two basic pedicures. It waas supposed to be a relaxing treat for my mom and I but it was stressful and aggravating. Both nail technicians were rude , impatient, pushy, and just down right mean. Mind you- It was not busy. There were three other technicians laying on the chairs on phones the entire time waiting for business. As far as the customer service and experience I give it a zero. The pedicure was mediocre at best. I definitely would never go back or recommend to anyone. Take your money elsewhere, these owners do not care about customer services. I tipped 15% because I didn’t have the heart to tip zero but they did not deserve a...
