Came here out of town, hungry and ready to eat but the food was disappointing. The service was good the staff friendly. The foil wrap chicked was over cooked, it had a burnt after taste (see pictures), the worst I ever ate. The shrimp fired rice was bland. I ate without complaining because I was family. I trust my relative to know the local good restaurants, she does not. Luckily, she paid for this filth of a meal. 🤮

Our "go to" restaurant when we're in Benicia, food and service is always great. For Ash Wednesday, and Lent in general, we get the Walnut Prawns, Prawns with Mixed Vegetables, Tofu Chow Fun, and Fried Rice. We got some free tea while we waited for our Take Out order. For Lunar New Year gifts, we got some free extra fortune cookies, lucky candies, and Lucky Red Envelopes for our grandkids! Thank you Cindy.

This place is surprisingly dirty for the area and the price. The bathrooms look like they haven't been cleaned in weeks. They cut vegetables in the dining area. The kitchen was not clean. And to top it off the food was bland and not even as good as panda express. The hostess was nice though.

So I recently moved to benicia and the first thing I always look for is a good chinese restaurant. My favorite place is another szechwan restaurant in vallejo but it was closed for a while during remodeling so I decided to try this place out.

Not bad. I ordered several things, but the one dish that stood out to me was the Hunan chicken. I always order the hunan chicken because it tends to be my favorite dish. Every restaurant has their slight variations on it but this one cooked it with whole fried chicken wings. This was a bit of a turn off for me since I am used to diced chicken, sometimes fried but mostly not. Despite this, the flavors were good.

My girlfriend ordered the mandatory honey walnut prawns, which is what she judges a new restaurant by. They came out super hot and delicious but the batter was a little TOO thick for my taste and a little TOO much sauce on the shrimp... but again, good flavors.

We also ordered the chow fun. I forget what type, but I think it was beef and my girlfriend specified she wanted it dry (aka not super saucy). This was also delicious and flavorful. the vegetables were still crispy and not overcooked and the meat wasn't overly chewy. the noodles had good flavor although they were a clumped together a little too much in my opinion.

We had the hot and sour soup as well because other people said that it was the best in the area. someone else mentioned in their review here that it is the best also. It was not bad but I prefer my spot in vallejo. However, this soup falls in second place to every soup I have ever tasted... and I have had a lot of hot and sour soup in my time.

The place where they shine the most is their lunch specials. I had no food for work one day so I ordered their pork in garlic sauce. For only 6.25 (as of early 2012) I got two fried wontons, a salad, choice of chow mein, fried rice or steamed rice and the pork in garlic sauce. i decided to go with the chow mein and I got so much chow mein I ate it for lunch and dinner. The meal was HUGE!

all in all i would not mind going back. it could use a bit of a facelift on the inside as the decor is a little drab. The appetizers are 5-10 bucks, while soups are around 6. The meat dishes range from 8-10 and veggie dishes are 7. I havent tried the lunch buffet yet but that is next on my list of...

First off I want to start by saying the customer service was horrible. When I asked questions about certain dishes and the ingredients inside them, the person taking the order kept rolling his eyes and giving short answers. His body language showed me that he was irritated. Since we ordered to go, we took a short walk around the neighborhood. When I came in to pick up the order , instead of handing it to my husband or myself, he threw it on the counter. I ordered the broccoli beef pan fried noodles. Now I know that pan fried noodles are supposed to have a bit of a crunchy texture, however these noodles were uncooked. I couldn’t even bite into them. They were like raw top ramen noodles. I had to put them in a pot with a little water and steam them. My husband ordered chicken and vegetables. The chicken tasted like it was boiled and left in the fridge for a couple of days. It had zero flavor. The inside of the restaurant...

I was raised in San Francisco where Chinese food is the best!! I live in Faifield & visited Benicia for the first time & stumbled across the very nice restaurant today. I was extremely surprised & delighted with my experience. The restaurant is decorated with taste & everything is clean from the table cloths to the floor. Although I did order a lot of the dishes, what I did order was beautiful to look at & so delicious, from the Pork, the rice & the fresh vegetables! The flavor was authentic & the person preparing it, had lots of experience cooking with the right spices & sauces! I will return with family member so we can order a variety of dishes & enjoy this amazing Restaurant. This is a family owned & is run my the mother, who is very pleasant & attentive! The prices are so reasonable, the portion very large & enough to take home for another meal! I Wish I Could Rate Them With 10...
