Hello, I am a traveler of Argentine - Italian nationality. I came across this very particular place. A cozy restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. Its owner and chef Ramiro was very kind and welcoming to me and my wife. They let us choose our table as we liked. As soon as we sat down they brought us water with lemon and hot bread with Eggplant Caponata (amazing ) We then tried a Calamari appetizer (abundant and tender) and then Fettuccine Alfredo and Salmon Dill (5āļø) The food is prepared at the moment and in front of the customers. Each main dish comes with a soup or salad (you can add protein or different types of salad for a fee). Both the waiter and the assistant were very attentive and friendly. RECOMMENDATION!! This is NOT your average American restaurant. You should arrive prepared to have the experience of a European restaurant, where one goes to enjoy, relax and eat delicious food. The attention is personalized, so it takes time. Patience and understanding where one went to eat is important. Thank you so much. We will return,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe visited Venticelloās on September 18th and sat outside with friends. While the atmosphere was very nice, the service left a bit to be desired.
We had to repeatedly ask for bread and the accompanying sauce, which came out slowly and not together. Since there were four of us, it would have been more considerate to provide two sauce bowls, as the portions were quite small.
I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo, which I found bland and lacking flavor, though my friends enjoyed their dishes more.
The part that really stood out (in a not-so-great way) was when the server brought the pepper grinder tucked under her arm, which felt unhygienic and unappetizing. People naturally sweat under their arms, and handling serving tools that way isnāt appropriate in a dining setting. We politely requested regular pepper shakers instead.
Despite the service hiccups, the outdoor setting was lovely, and Iād be willing to return to try a different dishāhopefully with a smoother...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was wonderful! The atmosphere, the food, the selection.....I could go on and on. If you want an Italian experience, this is the place to go. Small dining area, so reservations are a good idea. I had a seafood combo linguine with a garlic sauce. Delicious! My friend had mussels and said it was some of the best he's had in a restaurant. And he's picky. The wine list was adequate and they have a small bar. Prices were normal and portions were more than adequate. No appetizers except Crostini/ bread with an Olive Tampenade. Tasty. Three or four desserts were offered. My Creme Brulee was splendid......I wanted more. All in all a wonderful experience! A romantic spot or a family gathering. Not many children or babies and difficult for...
