I've long frequented Benner's for their amazing quality of pizzas and legendary calzones. Their sociable customer service is incomparable. Personally, I believe Benner's offers the hands down best calzone I've yet to have. Admittedly, their prices are slightly higher than competition across the street, but you receive far better product for your buck. I'm never dissatisfied with their product. Only once have I received something less than my expectations and they insisted on correcting it immediately. I will always remain a loyal patron of Benner's and be fan of their perfect calzones!

Benner's, is the place to go when you just want a little something when on main street in Bennington. Very responsible, respectful and safe -- typifying the Vermont way of coping with a pandemic. Call ahead, take out only, socially distant, accepting of both credit cards and your special needs. On the North side of main street but set back a bit, they can be hard to see when driving --so slow down. Calzones are a specialty.

I personally really like Benners. Not a NY style pie or Chicago. Their pizza successfully passes the slide test and is quite flavorful. Mondays offer a large for medium price. Small venue but quite nice. 11/2023 - still the best pizza in Bennington IMHO. It is not unusual to have to wait an hour or more during peak busy time. That is for good reason - the pizza is worth the wait.

I tried calling in an order for the 20 minutes I drove to Bennington, but the phone was always busy. That's not a complaint. It was Friday night and when I got there, I waited in line to place my order. It was 6pm. They told me they were super busy and my order would be ready at 7:15. I needed to go to home depot and get some groceries, so I was fine with that. They took my number and called when the order was coming out of the oven. It was 6:37 - only 37 minutes after I ordered 2 calzones.

THEY WERE DELICIOUS and reasonably priced to boot!

They were busy and they communicated well. This makes them a great place to do business at. Same thing happens at a delicious restaurant in Williamstown as well. When places have prices and flavors worth the wait, I'm happy to wait.

Every time order from here the food is always hot and delicious. If I order delivery it is always quick and easy(obviously if order during a rush they might take longer). I am always told upfront it will be an extending time before they are able to deliver. I have to say, every time I order delivery, it's within a reasonable time frame and is always delicious.(if it has cooled down a little bit that's what ovens are for) The last time I ordered pizza I swear it looked like it came right out of a pizza advertisement.
