Asian Halal Meat Market — Restaurant in Bensalem Township

They cheat the weight. We purchased 2 pounds of 3 different kinds of meat and when we got home and weighed it ourselves in our kitchen scale, every container was 1/2 pound to 1 pound less than what were were charged for. We went back to the shop and he wouldn't admit that they cheated the scale, even after he weighed it in front of us and he was getting the same numbers we were getting with our scale, they tried to say that they weight it before cleaning it but what kind of meat is he selling that has 50% fat that the customer pays for to be disposed off? I've never heard that from a butcher before. The meat we get at other places is weighed in front of the customers after it's packaged because that is what you are buying, not what ends up in the trash, that's just a ridiculous argument that they tried to make to not admit that they are cheating their customers, most importantly they are cheating fellow Muslims who go out of their way to get Halal meat, they will have to answer to that on the day of judgement. We got our money back and we will be filing a complaint with the consumer protection office as well, several stores got in big trouble for not removing the weight of containers from what they are charging their customers for which is a far less of a cheat than adding up to a pound to the weight,...

I recently had a terrible experience at Asian Halal Meats. I placed an order at 2 PM, with the assurance that it would be ready for pickup by 5 PM. Upon arrival, I had to wait in line, which would have been fine if the cashier had managed it properly. Instead, he was taking orders randomly from people on different sides of the line, causing confusion and frustration.

When I complained about this unorganized behavior, the cashier's response was not only unprofessional but shockingly inappropriate. He sarcastically replied, "I'm not Shaktimaan," and then, unbelievably, placed a knife on the counter, telling me to "take it and punish him."

This was the extreme of worse behavior I've ever encountered in a service setting. Such disrespect and lack of basic customer service etiquette are unacceptable. I would strongly advise against shopping here until they make significant improvements to their service and train their staff to handle customers...

Very nice Customer Service. People who are writing they got cheated need to understand that the meat (goat/beef) is with fat when weighed and with bones. So, if you don't want want meat fat or bones, then naturally it will weigh less. If you want to take the meat with fat and bones, just ask the store owner to give the whole thing as-is and I am pretty sure, you will not miss even 1 ounce/1 gram of the purchase you paid for. Subhan Allah - I have been coming here for 15 years every 2 weeks and he is the most honest/trustworthy butcher with a smiling face/personality I found. Sometimes, due to heavy volume and new store workers sometimes due to poor training or lack of experince, they may have shown some poor customer service, that is one or two out of hundreds of people served on daily basis.
