Went yesterday to exchange a bed in bag comforter/sheet set that was purchased about a month ago and went to wash it for the first time and fabric in one area thinned out and separated. We still had original bag with ross price tag on it. We paid $34.99 for it. The rude woman that worked there said she could only issue a store credit for $8.99 since we lost receipt. I told her to look it up since we purchased with a credit card, she said she could not do that. I asked her to exchange it for the exact same one they still sell for $34.99. She said I would have to return this one for $8.99 then repurchase the new one for $34.99 and pay the difference. WHY should we pay the difference on a defective product? This is after waiting in their cattle chute line when they had 5 people at cashiers with only 2 lane lights open! The store is just a horrible experience and I would not recommend anyone buy anything there that can possibly be returned, because the return policy is a rip-off. Hopefully someone see's this review from management and at least looks into the way the store runs. How a store stays in business with rude uncaring employees is beyond me! In the end, after I left the store, I took the portion of the damaged sheets and put them in the clothing drive container in the parking lot. Maybe someone will be able to have better luck than me and return it............or maybe the rude Ross employee uses the clothing drop-off to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust left this location at 9:20 pm today April 16th. Me and my 2 young daughters and husband came to do a little shopping after a long day of work. We walked around the whole store just enjoying some family time and taking our time to see what items we wanted. I actually always shop at this location. While looking at the clippers for my husband he noticed a huge black woman yelling to security and pointing over to us as if she was saying to watch us. This woman followed us through the store, each time we looked up she acted as if she was looking to buy something. So we finally got to the front with our $140 dollars worth of items, the same woman reached inside a box of crackers and looked me in my face so we locked eyes. She looked at me as if she was trying to be intimidating. She got behind us in line as if we were criminals and she was top flight security, she actually looked like the criminal, not sure how she got this job. We were just a family doing some shopping and we get treated like this. I am highly upset about this experience as I am a long time customer. This woman needs some training or to be fired . I am sure this store has cameras where she could be monitoring those instead of making customers feel uncomfortable. We paid for our items and left this is my last time at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis store wasn't all that great, it was a little messy, the lines was extra long, the systems where messing up they had to split my order up in to three different transactions. When standing inline there was a customer that asked the manager why is the lines so long and the manager told her that they where waiting for the other associates to come in, and the customer asked her so why aren't you on the registers helping and the manager told her because she wasn't on register, and the customer told her well you should be. I completely agree with the customer that approached the manager. When I first got in line there was one cashier and about 20 people in front of me, the cashier asked for help and no one came to help, about 10 minutes later the cashier called for help again the about 5 min later another person came to help. So while i was slowly getting to the front of the line there was about 30 people in line behind me and the manager was saying she couldn't help. She definitely should have came on the registers and help out especially since the systems where acting up and things where taking longer. I was not to pleased with this shopping experience at this store, the ones back at home are we at better. I love going to these stores when I travel away from home and this one I...
