Lee's Hoagie House of Bensalem — Restaurant in Bensalem Township

I didnt want to call and complain about the experience I just had and I didnt want to go off on these people. First off, they have coupons that are misleading and when you go intere they make you buy a full size hoagie for the buy one get on free. That would be enough for 4 people and not right for just one person. Also, I specifically asked the order taker if they use real cheese wiz and not the immitation, he said they use the real wiz even after I asked to try it. he assured me it was the real cheese wiz. Guess what, it wasnt and didnt find out til I got home. I ordered a cheesesteak and asked them to toast the roll, he said they dont have any way of toasting the roll. Are you kidding me, a steak and hoagie joint doesnt have an oven or means to toast an effin roll. Another worker made a lame ass comment that toasting the roll ruins the sandwich. This guy obviously doesnt know food too well. The steak I got had hardly any meat, mostly roll and they forgot to put fried onions and ketchup and mayonaisse as requested, To top it off, it was 15.00 for a cheesesteak cheese fries and chips. I will never ptaronize Less again and hopefully they read all these comments...

I moved from Bensalem to Delaware 5 years ago (basically Maryland!).. our food down here SUCKS. I have no problems with people down here calling their Hoagies.. Subs.. because they are NOT a hoagie 🤣

I was "home" on Saturday and impulsively called Lee's and ordered 2 hoagies.. with the fixings on the side. I arrived and my hoagies were done and they gave me a nice little container with the veggies and oil on the side (we love the seasoned oil so I suggest asking for extra! 🤣). The staff was super friendly and seemed so busy!

Our 2 hoagies traveled the 2.5 hour treck (I wrapped them in aluminum foil) in a cooler to Delaware with ease. When we sat down to eat them, the next day mind you, they were amazing.

The container that held the fixings; lettuce, tomato, onion, oil traveled perfectly.. infact the tomatos tasted better after being seasoned on a bed a Lettuce! We easily assembled and devoured amazing hoagies.

I've tried to bring hoagies home numerous times. Most places do not travel well.. Lee's, wrapped in aluminum foil, hit above the mark! 10/10 reccomend.. They would travel amazingly to a tailgate also! Try it.. you won't be...

This was the last straw for me. EVERYTIME I order from here my sandwiches are always wrong. I stop ordering for a while then go back in hopes of getting the item I actually order. DO NOT ever order extra cheese b/c you will most definitely pay for it and never receive it. I stopped ordering extra, like today for instance. I ordered tuna on rye with mayo and American cheese. Who here thinks there was cheese on my sandwich? Anyone? No one right? You would be correct. How hard is it? Tuna, bread, mayo and cheese.... 4 things! This place is for sure NOT the only place I have issues with. They should know, along with every other food service place, hire people who can read, comprehend and take pride in their work b/c this is your business, your livelihood and you just lost...
