Food was okay. Service was HORRIBLE. My fiance and I ate here on November 1st. We walked in and there was nobody at the hostess stand. So we stood there and waited for a bit to see if anyone would greet us. Nobody ever did so my fiance walked over to the guy behind the register (tall guy with a man bun), who was just standing there doing nothing at all and told him there was two of us and we'd like a booth. He grabbed two menus and looked around the restaurant. Then he walked away without saying a word and we just assumed we were supposed to follow him. He took us to a dirty booth and proceeded to start clearing it off while my fiance and I awkwardly stood there uncomfortably close to people who were eating. We sat down and someone dropped off chips and salsa. Then we waited probably 15 minutes before anybody came and took our drink orders. Several waiters/waitresses walked passed our table multiple times and nobody acknowledged us. Someone finally stopped by. I'm guessing his name was Luis because it was on our receipt. He NEVER introduced himself. We ordered drinks and he quickly walked away. We had been sitting for so long that we were actually ready to order our food, but he walked away without even asking if we were ready to order. He brought our drinks and we ordered. A few moments later someone else dropped off our food. Our waiter NEVER asked us how our food was. HUGE NO-NO in the restaurant business. He only came by once when he saw my fiance's soda was low. He stopped several times at all the other tables/booths around us. I assume this was because even though we're 30, my fiance and I look very young and waiters like to assume young people don't tip well. We both used to be servers and we actually tip very well when it's deserved. All the tables around us were older couples with children. We got our receipt and went to the register to pay. The tall guy with the man bun took our card and stared at the receipt as my fiance wrote $1 tip (more than our waiter deserved) and signed. He snatched the receipt from him and never said a word. No, "how was your meal" or "have a good night" or anything. This restaurant is minutes from our house, but we'll drive out of the way to the 42...
Read moreI've been to several Fiesta Mexicana locations before, including this one, however my last several visits have been greatly disappointing. I'll start with the good, the rice. Some of the best you can get in a restaurant around here. Unfortunately that's where the good ends. Service was slow, which I get given shortages, but the server was...let's say, less than enthusiastic to be there. I ordered the carne asada tacos, which are one of my usual orders in previous visits. Generally, the carne asada is as it should be, strips of flank steak. This time, it was literally just ground beef. Ok, whatever, at least it will have flavor right....NOPE. Absolutely no flavor. They just literally threw it on the skillet and put it in the tacos. Luckily I stole some of my wife's chicken fajitas mix to give my tacos some flavor. Not even lime and cilantro was enough to help. And while we're on that topic, the lime. For the love of God, why do you give me one wedge of lime for 3 tacos?!? I can deal with service issues if the food is good, but service issues AND bad food is a no-go. Hopefully they up...
Read moreMy server after seating me took my order within a 5-minute range that was the last bit of proficiency that I saw from her I sit there so long that I quit eating chips and started falling asleep when I looked at my watch I have been sitting there for over 25 minutes that's when my server should back up because she realized I was falling asleep sitting there I said let me go check on your food. She brought out my plate with mitts on and I still don't know why because the plate wasn't hot the food was cold literally my first bite of rice it was cold the cheese dip out order it was as fluid as my iced tea I've never seen cheese dip that water down my burritos with cold and none of it had flavor absolutely none of it that is the first time and the last time that I will ever go there and the waitress should remember me because I left her a $1 and whatever change was left over tip out of what my bill was I normally never tip less than 25% but it all God's honesty she didn't deserve what I gave her worst Mexican restaurant dining experience that I...
