Please note this latest review concerns the TB/KFC location on Hwy 210 in Benson, NC. Placed an order through TB mobile app and got in drivethru line to pickup, as I have hundreds of times before. I waited 15 minutes in drivethru, only for employee to instruct me at speaker to get out of line, drive around front and park, and go inside to pickup order. Well, I'm already in drivethru and have been for 15 minutes. There's only one other guest behind me, and it's just $2 burrito and $1 drink. So, I'm picking up this order at the drivethru window, as I have been for years now. When I got to the window, cashier went into a tirade about how mobile orders can't be picked up in drivethru. I promised him I would not return to bother this location again and asked if he could please just bring my order out to the window. He left, and a female employee told me no one would bring my order to the window so I would have to go inside to get it. I asked her if we could just cancel the order and get a refund. She said that they could not refund me in-store. The cashier had already checked my order in, so there was no way I could cancel it in app at this point. Employees had many opportunities to make this a positive experience, but instead chose at every turn to make this visit slow, inconvenient, and tedious. This is my last TB experience. It's TacoBell, so expectations were already super low. But service can't get much more ridiculous when every visit there's an employee-caused problem that employees can't be bothered to solve. Every visit has been worse than the last. These locations around me are too trifling, and everyday expenses are rising. Read moreThis location is beyond horrible. The wait times are outrageous every time. I always do mobile pickup orders, just say in drive thru for 20 minutes and there 5 cars ahead of me. Finally got up to the speaker and told them my mobile order name/number. Was told to pull to the window. Manager came to the window and told me to pull around to the front of the store and she would bring my order out to me. Before I pulled around I asked her for two avocado verde sauce packets and informed her that the last time I placed a mobile order I paid for two and never received them. She immediately got snotty and asked me if I called the store to report the two sauce packets that were not received. Whoever is the district manager is for this location needs to find a different manager/staff. I told her no I don’t bother to call up here to report two missing .20 cent sauce packets! Who’s going to call the store and bother them for 2 missing sauce packets. Maybe her focus should be on managing the drive thru wait times instead of questioning a customer over two salsa packets. I have better things to do with my time than try to scam Taco Bell out of two salsa packets. She then told me to pull up front again and she would bring me the food. The drive thru is super slow, and I mean be prepared to be waiting for over 45 minutes. You sit so long, that they will even they to take your order 2-3 times knowing none of the cars have moved.
When you drive up, they literally only say “Taco Bell” even though it is also a KFC. When you are done ordering, after being interrupted after every item “is that all…anything else?”, they will just say pull up. So that dilemma is you can’t because it it so slow.
When you finally get to the window, they will give you the wrong total, or wrong order.
In my recent visit, tonight, I got to the window and they gave me a total, but I informed them again that I ordered online and already paid, then they like to act like they don’t know about your order.
So, I had to wait 20 minutes…20 minutes at the window. What in any fast food restaurant takes 20 minutes to make?
Then, they hand you the bags and close the window. I have to wait for them to come back to acknowledge that my order is not correct, and that I have to ask for my drinks that I ordered/paid for. After the eyes roll, they hatefully hand you what you ordered.
If you go, just be prepared as this is standard for this Taco Bell.
