Rachel was so helpful. I went in to get 4 key fob batteries replaced. She was the only one initially on the floor, part way through my replacement, the store got a rush of customers (manager came out to help) and I told her to pause helping me so she could help the other customers. She handled the influx of people well. Every customer was given personalized genuine help. When filling out forms for phone repairs she took the time to verbally review the information taken down with the customer. With her phone calls she always ended it with a quick review of the conversation. She made a point to say thank you to each customer at the end of the transaction. When it calmed back down, she apologized to me for the wait and thanked me for waiting (which was unnecessary- I knew I was taking up a larger portion of time and I had the time to wait). Never once did she complain to me or the manager about the rush, she just took it in stride and confidently, methodically got through it. Read moreI went to the website to check inventory on the battery I needed. I like that I can do that. When I got to the website there was a coupon to save 5% if I ordered online and picked up in the store. For the battery I wanted that was about 5 bucks. Yes I would like to save 5 bucks. As I placed the order, the website automatically charged me for a core, the core charge is 10 dollars.
When I arrived at the store, the sales associate told me their machine was down and that they could not refund me my core charge. The sales associate told me when his co-worker gets back from lunch that he would call me and get this fixed.
As I write this, it is the next day 7/2/19 and I have received no calls.
Edit, a week later no call.
Also as I write this, the battery has cost me 5% more than if I had walked in with my core off of the street and bought the battery.

Read moreUPDATE: B+ replaced the faulty battery, at their own suggestion, and after a couple of days of being reluctant to charge, it kicked in. Now charging is fine and the battery has a reasonable life before emptying.
iPad battery replacement: waste of time & money! B+ broke the camera while working on the battery, and fixed it with 3rd-party parts, so goodbye Apple quality. Scheduled same-day repair took a full week after that & another glitch involving parts. The new battery had 12% charge when the iPad was returned to me, and after 36 hours of charging, still hasn’t reached 90%. I used the iPad today for about 3 hours, and it needs charging again, so the “new” battery isn’t at all like an Apple quality. On the upside, employees were polite. They were not proactive about communicating delays: I had to call the store for status updates & schedule changes. They gave me 10% off for the trouble.
