I have loved Baja since the first visit shortly after they opened. We shared smoked chicken nachos after reading another review. It was definitely the right choice. We make slight changes based on our tastes (no cilantro, peppers on the side) and they are absolutely phenomenal. These nachos aren't like what you'll get anywhere else. Rice, black beans, guacamole, sour cream, white queso, chicken that is smoked in house, and more. Even with 2 people sharing this plate, we can barely finish it. Well worth $14. We've tried other dishes as well and everything is wonderful. Another favorite are the chicken enchiladas. The meal includes 3 enchiladas, rice, and black beans, also $14. They serve various alcohol drinks with punny names based on pop culture such as a Daq In A Box. There are a variety of daiquiri flavors to choose from including strawberry. If you somehow still have room for dessert (or knew you would want dessert so you saved half of your meal to take home), there are several options including cheesecake, caramel ice cream, and a brownie a la mode. I highly recommend the brownie. They have both indoor and patio seating. We've always had excellent service. Baja has become a regular spot for us for lunch or dinner. They're closed on Monday so stop by any other day and enjoy some of the best food to be...
Read moreBaja grill and Valhalla are sister restaurants and I enjoy both. I’m not a huge fan of cali-mex style but I enjoy it now and again. Especially on the patio in the nice weather!
Salsa is an appetizer and not complimentary. But it is very fresh and tasty, the guac was also very good. Both had a lot of lime taste to them, which I enjoyed but is subjective.
The queso was the weakest of the three, it was room temp when I got it so that’s probably why.
The Mahi Mahi bowl was very good! Loved the slaw and fresh taste of all the veggies. The blackened shrimp was also good.
My fiancés Baja pork burrito was the weakest part of the meal. Not a lot of meat, and was not portioned well, like it went veggies/meat/ then rice & beans.
The Baja margs were ok, a bit too sweet for me personally.
Service was good but they were extremely busy. The server was very friendly and prompt, I have no complaints on the service.
Lastly, the price is a bit expensive. I will come back but it’s not in my regular rotation. I prefer Valhalla personally of the twins but i say...

chicken with mango, black beans, rice, pineapple, and dry slaw for a nice crunch. Smothered in white queso with a garnish of pickled red onion, diced cooked mango, cooked pineapple ring, and fresh cilantro. The burrito was great, I enjoyed the crunch of the dry slaw along with the slight tang of the pineapple. For someone who likes spice this was seasoned well, but I personally like a little more heat. Over all a solid choice and very filling.
Brownie al a mode
-Dark Chocolate brownie topped with Cinnamon Ice Cream, chocolate sauce, Carmel sauce, and whipped cream. The brownie wasn't overly sweet so the entire dessert is well balanced. I love Cinnamon flavored anything so I particularly enjoyed the cinnamon ice cream versus the French vanilla option that is offered.
Our server was excellent and was on top of our every need but not over bearing.
As a whole the restaurant was well kept and the restrooms were clean and stocked.
Will definitely come again for something different next time just to explore the...
