ROBER :: Cocktails + Culinary — Restaurant in Benton

Can’t say enough about our experience at Rober! We started in the lounge (where I could permanently reside) with drinks. The ambience and feels of this room is magical. We love kicking back and visiting here. Loved the Pom Thumb and Blueberry Lemondrop. I am going to dream about these! Our reservation for six was right on time! We were escorted from the lounge to dining area seamlessly. We couldn’t decide on just one starter so we ordered the bacon flight, pimento cheese, and a charcuterie board the length of our table. Started with the bacon flight. I’m still not over this one. I thought I could pick a favorite piece but there’s no way. The next was just as delicious as the one before. The pimento cheese and charcuterie board didn’t disappoint either. I am a picky pimento cheese girl and this one was mouthwatering. See picture of the board… it speaks for itself! Everyone at our table had a different dinner and everyone raved about the taste and the presentation. We were all stuffed and happy! Loved our experience. And I mean experience! Loved the attentiveness of the staff and Heather. She has truly created a special place with Rober and Saline County is lucky to have her. Being hands on and in the middle of it all is what she does best. All of the Taco Society restaurants are top notch across the board. They are a must stop when we are back in town Can’t say enough good things and can’t wait to get back to Rober with our friends! ❤️❤️❤️

Let me start off and say I just moved here, and I'm not too familiar with everything that is here. My good friend Luke recommended this place due to my 2 year anniversary coming up. I wanted to take my wonderful lady somewhere special and somewhere that would WOW us both.

Just skip everyone else and go eat here! We made a reservation, We arrived early and waited for a couple of minutes, but when we got back to our table, we just sat in awe!

We had Sable as our waitress and she was promt and extremely friendly! She went over everything since we had never been here. She gave us the specials for the night, and we started with an app. Little time passed, and they brought us a bacon flight that was an extra! Blown away with just the overall experience at this point! And we haven't even got dinner yet! The lady got the filet, which was absolutely perfect. I'll even say fork tender! Straight up reminded me of a fancy restaurant in Chicago that would cook steaks Sous Vide! I had the salmon, which couldn't be any more perfect! The food was perfect, wouldn't change anything, Drinks are amazing and Death before Decaf is a must! Dessert was to go but once again, a simple classic yet perfect dish!

Price wise. I've heard people say it's expensive, and truthfully, it's not. For the quality and the service, it's highly affordable. My hats off to the Chef and everyone there! Well done and please keep up the excellent work! I'll be...

If I could leave zero stars I would. Don’t recommend this place. Our server basically ignored us the entire time we were in the restaurant. The bread they served was not cooked. The charcuterie board we order was extremely overpriced. I could have gotten something better at Walmart. The entrees were lackluster. Save your money and just cook for yourself. Place is terrible.

::edit:: I am well aware the food was of high quality. I am also well aware we were late by 15 minutes. I take full accountability for that. I appreciate you comping the meal. I did not ask for that, nor was I expecting that. I had full intentions of paying for everything. I know food and service is not cheap, no matter how much I dislike either. But my words are my experience and my truth, even if you disagree. Other people were served before us, even though they were seated after us. You had ham on your charcuterie board. Plain ham. My date had four scallops on his plate. Four. Most importantly, our server barely spoke to us. We both left feeling as if we were borderline ignored or she was offended because we were two men. I have been truly stumped. I was so looking forward to eating at your restaurant. We both were, and we both left disappointed. Rober was highly recommended to me by close friends. It has gotten rave reviews, and I am sure it will continue to get rave reviews. I don’t think my one negative review is going to hurt your reputation....
