Italy in Town — Restaurant in Benton

So very disappointed.... I attempted to contact the owner via messenger and sent the following message: 12/15/18 My husband and I were at your restaurant this evening. I have heard nothing but good things and we were excited to go tonight to celebrate a milestone for us and to have a date night. My husband called ahead of time to see if we needed reservations and ask what the dress code was. We were told we didn't need a reservation so we headed right over. We were told we could sit at the 4 top table close to the bar. Your servers (3 of them) walked past us multiple times and finally after a good 8 minutes the male server asked us if we wanted something to drink. We asked for the drink menu, which he gave us and then walked away, no apology for the wait and no word that he would be right back. A few minutes later we were given bread by someone else who didn't appear to be a server. Then we waited and waited and waited but no one came to ask our drink or food order. No one really seemed to notice we had been sitting there for over 10 minutes with no attention. We finally got up to leave (after being there 15 min) and the male server who came to our table said have a good night as we walked out the door. He had no clue who we were. I'm so very disappointed in this first time experience at your restaurant. Surely this isn't how you treat customers. We are big supporters of local businesses and personally know the importance of spending our money locally but you never gave us a chance. *To this day, I have STILL not received any response. We love local restaurants and businesses and don't like to post negative reviews. But this experience needed...

I have NEVER been treated so bad at a restaurant. Me my husband my 14yo,12yo and 3yo who all are pretty well behaved decided to go out since we RARELY get to be together due to kids activities. We used to love this place. We came in we’re seated and a waitress said she would bring us a high chair. She never came back I had to go get my own then we kept waiting and no one ever came to our table. If you have ever eaten hear it’s really small it’s not like you could have missed us. So then another table comes in gets sat drinks immediately and orders. I told my husband and kids to go across the streets rock n roll sushi ( love that place) and I stayed to speak to the manager. After the waitress tried to ignore me and walk by I got her attention and told her I wanted the manager. She went to the kitchen came back and said he was busy. I told her I didn’t care I want him now. When he came I told him what all happened he could care less and just offered us some food to go!!! I have never been treated so awful so we took our money went across the street racked up a bill and we always tip BIG. This place sucks in my book and you ought...

My husband and I took our 7 month old son to visit my sister in Benton and she mentioned this restaurant; she hadn’t been yet and thought it would be a nice place to check out. We absolutely loved it! The food was delicious (my 11 year old nephew got the lobster ravioli- not a typical kid item but he was happy with his meal and insisted everyone try it lol!) and our server was a delight. When we arrived, the place wasn’t too full, but several more families/couples arrived shortly after and I overheard our waitress letting them know she was the only server that evening as the two others had called off. I wish I knew her name to give her the credit she deserved! We didn’t wait long considering her dilemma and she was sweet as could be. Kitchen staff were helping her throughout the evening and I was impressed with the teamwork. I got the lasagna and I really enjoyed it.
