Hungry late at night in Benton Arkansas? Hmm.. well your options are fairly limited. But amid the sea of lights out and "CLOSED" signs there is Domino's, shining like a beacon in the night, welcoming you in to feed your need.
Ok, hyperbole aside, it's a fact. If you're craving a pizza at 10 pm in Benton, Domino's is there for ya.
I had the super thin crunchy crust with garlic parmesan sauce. Excellent alternative to traditional red sauce (which I also love). It'll remind you of an Alfredo sauce but slightly more tangy with some sharp notes. Oh by the way, if you really want an Alfredo sauce, they also offer that as an option.
I was satisfied with the pizza. I have a long-standing grump about Domino's not offering green olives or canned mushrooms as toppings, but I knew that before I ordered, so it wasn't a disappointment, just a frustration that keeps Domino's from being my first choice when there are other places open that offer exactly what I want.
One further note about the pizza was the crust. It's described as thin & crunchy, and it lives up to the description. The taste & texture were a surprise, though.
The best way to describe it is that it seems Domino's found a giant round saltine cracker & used it as a pizza crust. Don't get me wrong, it was good. Just not what I was expecting when I took that first bite. I wanted traditional pizza crust taste, and I got a giant cracker.
I'll qualify that last statement by admitting that after a couple of pieces I got used to it and it wasn't terrible at all, just not quite what I was hoping for. All in all, if I was looking for a completely alternative pizza experience, Domino's in Benton, Arkansas gets an A+.
If you've read this far, congratulations! Now here comes the best part: the service. Both staff members were very cordial, helpful and professional. They made it a great experience by their attitudes. Two thumbs up!!
Would I recommend you get a pizza at Domino's in Benton? If you're hungry late at night in Benton, absolutely!...
Read moreI worked at this Dominos for about a year and a half. The employees and managers came and went, but the service and people were kind and likeable. I was disappointed to find this past Sunday that all of the people I knew here are gone. Manager Brian Stokes is no longer here and the new manager is nice but to my surprise there is a $1 charge now for parmesan cheese. Why is that? The employees were nice too but it just feels like a completely different restaurant now. I will probably not be coming back for a while. Just seems vastly underwhelming compared to how it used to be. Best luck to this store's continued success! Update 12/21/2024: I want to say thanks to the owner for responding to my review back in 2023. I moved to Little Rock in 2019 but this past July, I moved back to Saline County due to health issues. Now that I am nearby, I will give you another try. Thanks for being responsive. Keeping my review at three stars. Rating is subject to change based on...
Read moreI called and ordered a pizza the other night and ordered to deluxe. The man there who answered told me he had a special price pizza for $11 that had everything on it that a deluxe has. I told him I like lots of vegetables on my pizza peppers mushrooms onions all of that and he said there's did. I ordered thin crust..I got the pizza home... There was hardly any vegetables on it maybe 10 little chunks of Italian sausage which I could have done without, small Amy of pepperoni, & very sauce heavy. I would have rather paid the $17 or whatever a regular deluxe cost. if it really had more stuff on it. so I guess if you get a pizza for less money one of their specials they really downsize the quality & the amount is f ingrediants. Not ordering pizza from there again!! Gave two stars only because the...
