I saw this restaurant when browsing Google for dinner. I was THRILLED because I loved Genghis Grill when it was in Little Rock and it looked to be of the same food /setup. Boy, was I wrong! 🤢 🤮
First of all, the food could be good. If only they offered more than four seasonings to choose from (should've been my first red flag). I chose the teriyaki sauce and was shocked when I opened my food to see hardly any color on the chicken and it didn't even smell faintly of teriyaki. I went in and asked for an extra sauce, tasted it before putting it on the chicken, and it tasted extremely watered down! Once I got home, I reluctantly showed my boyfriend the food we had received. As soon as he opened up the box, he said it looked extremely bland. After he took a bite, we both agreed it was disgusting. Neither of us could take more than one tiny bite before throwing it in the trash.
On the other hand, the atmosphere is AMAZING! The claw machines were the only reason I don't call my first and last visit a complete REGRET...and quite frankly, that's just me trying to be nice. I am not the type of person to leave negative reviews, as I have been in the restaurant industry most of my life. I would definitely recommend adding more seasonings and more quality sauces. Just, ugh. The potential this place has is amazing, but the food is not worth it in the slightest bit (unless you like unseasoned chicken, beef, etc.) It was an...
Read moreBeautiful furniture. Cool arcade stuffed animal diggers. Loved the selection. Was disappointed there was only regular corn, not baby corn. Also found it kind of strange they help you with your spice and sauce at the end of the bar and seem impatient for you to choose, when you haven’t been before doesn’t make you feel that welcome. Also thought it was strange they stand by your table to get the check after they drop it off, but I guess it is nice you don’t have to wait for them to come back. Was definitely impressed with how nice everything was interior wise. The ice was a nice texture for drinks and the drinks were great! Waiter had great manners. They also have sushi, ice cream, vanilla tea, and cheese cake! Love the Japanese things like a waving cat that greet you when you come in the door. The door handles are beautiful. Would definitely...
Read moreA friend told me about this place so, being a Mongolian bbq lover, I had to try it. Overall it was excellent. I like their approach to the concept where you can get a single bowl or AYCE ( that's what I got). Basically, you get a bowl and fill it with a starch of your choice, then veggies, then meats. I really liked the meat options. They had beef, pork, shrimp, baby scallops, imitation crab, chicken (white and dark meat), sausage and ham. Then they give you 2 small bowls for your choice of sauces and seasonings. The server gave me some suggestions for a non-spicy bowl which was helpful. After it's cooked they bring your creation to your table. I made a chow mein bowl and a fried rice bowl and both had really good flavor. I have to say this is now my go-to spot for Mongolian, especially since LR lost the one they had. P.S. This spot is...
