My husband and I were very excited to try this restaurant as we were still in search of another location serving middle eastern dishes that taste like home for my partner. First, three tables were occupied when we walked in at 5:45pm on a Friday evening and there was only a single server present who ended up being the best part of our expirence. We vocalized that this was our first impression and decided to sit down since they all needed some time to catch up on food of a table of 8. The other tables had two people per table. As we browsed on the Instagram page we waited until the kitchen 'caught up' which was 29 minutes after arrival at 6:14pm. The food for the other tables hadn't yet come out at that point and not for about another 15 or 20 minutes when are food was done after their dishes came out at two separate intervals. My husband and I ordered Beef Doner, Iskander Kebob, and Knafeh. Our total was <44$ for three dishes and one bottled beverage. First the Doner was about a 6.5 in flavor. The beef was a bit dry on the edges and tender in the middle which was good but the dish didn't impress me. Same with the Iskander Kebob both flavors where underwhelming because of the massive bowl of oil which is expected of Iskander but not the Doner. The dishes were unbalanced with grains and veg ratio to meat. These were extremely oily, meat heavy dishes that leave a bloated feeling in the gut. Iskander had a cut up pita in the bottom and half a tomato. The Doner had oily rice and meat with a scoop of Taziki and a scoop of veg. Paying for one dish 14$ and the Isknader 17$! I left feeling dissapointed. I want to say how good the food is after the first bite. Now, the knafeh was beyond the best part, it was actually delicious. There was supposed to be Turkish Coffee too, but unfortunately we couldn't wait because by the time we got our knafeh, it was already after 7:15pm. We had been at this restaurant for an 1½ hours, waiting for two mains and a dessert to share. Now atmosphere was impeccable in an uncomfortable, awkward sort of way. The music choice was a bit dramatic, but the decor was cute with valentines balloons. The painful part was watching this obviously stressed poor singular server handle more and more customers, buss tables and visit tables without an ounce of help from another employee, of which, non were present. Obviously stressed it appeared as though she could not communicate with the kitchen comfortably. 🚩  Restaurants need to take critism to grow and keep business. As I have expirenced the best chefs/owners are those who take orders without taking things personally. Unfortunately this restaurant cannot handle being remotely busy because of the understaffing issue and I hope Casa Doner can make some changes to retain a steady business because I see unreached potential. With a firmer grip on appreciating crew members and a more staffed restaurant maybe one day I will be happy to go to Casa Doner.

I went to lunch with my daughter yesterday and everything was great. I tried their daily special "mujadara" which is a lentil dish that is well known in the middle east and which I grew up eating myself. I was surprised to find it being sold in a restaurant in NWA but apparently the owner is middle eastern and wants to share all of her favorite mediterranean gems. She definitely seems to know what she's doing with the new menu she is creating! I really could not recommend this dish enough! I also had the hummus with pita, which was some of the best I've had, as well as the tabouli salad. I also bought some of the baklava boxes they sell, and it was really delicious. It tastes fresh and not too sweet. I can't wait for the holidays so that I can stock up for guests! They make perfect holiday gifts as well, I already know what I'm gifting this year. Stock is apparently limited so I might be shooting myself in the foot by posting this...oh well, I'll consider it my good deed of the week. Highly recommend!

Casa Döner is a place that truly knows how to make you feel welcome. The staff are some of the nicest you’ll ever meet—polite, attentive, and always going out of their way to ensure you have a great experience. The food here is just as impressive. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and everything is plated with care. Their sauces are a game-changer, setting them apart from the competition with flavors that keep you coming back. They even get creative with their menu—like their falafel pizza, which looks like a pizza but isn’t baked and skips the cheese. It’s fresh, unique, and totally worth trying. While the food and service shine, they could improve a bit on the decor and keeping the space tidy. The salon can feel a little cluttered at times, and sprucing up the ambiance would definitely take Casa Döner to the next level.

Unfortunately, my friends and I had a very disgusting experience at this restaurant. We decided to try this establishment during lunch. We each ordered our food. Three out the four of us received our food timely. The friend that was still waiting on his food only ordered a wrap as it appeared on the overhead menu, with no changes or substitutions. After waiting for several minutes, our friend insisted we move forward with eating as the waitress said his order was coming up. Over a thirty-minute period we finished our lunch, and the waitress kept reassuring us that his order was coming up. Finally, one of our friends walked up to the counter to find out what the delay was, and just told them to place meal in a to-go-box when it was ready. Shortly after, the owner walked out of the kitchen, slammed his boxed food in front of him with two five-dollar bills (which didn’t even cover the cost of the meal), gave us a very disgruntled look, and walked away without an apology or even an explanation as to why he had to wait approximately 45 minutes for a meal. This man clearly has temperament problems and lacks any amount of professionalism. The waitress even apologized for his behavior and confirmed he indeed was the owner. Sadly, the food is good, but not worth giving a man money with the temperament of a grown child. My family and I will not be returning to this restaurant, nor do I recommend...
