Onyx Coffee Lab - The Momentary — Restaurant in Bentonville

A truly unique cafe! The wam pink aesthetic is so clean, refined, and perfectly done. This cafe is a must visit for any quality coffee lover and appreciator of excellent interior design! The espresso is perfect the specialty drinks are over the top (I had the campfire mocha complete with freshly toasted marshmallow and graham cracker on top).

The clear bar is truly one of a kind (though it will probably grow in popularity) and the clear body espresso machine components I believe were one of only two modbar machines like this in the world. And the behind the counter seating of course didn’t foresee Covid, but I love the concept in how it breaks the barrier between the customer and the barista and I hope it will gain popularity over time. But on the other hand, the conveyor belt delivery for food and back end drinks fits COVID perfectly and is a great rethinking of delivery. This cafe is truly ahead of it’s time and even if the aesthetic doesn’t fit your taste it really is...

Although this is one of the cutest coffee shops that I ever seen & the prices were definitely decent, same as starbucks.

The reason why i am NOT giving them the rest of the stars is because…i didn’t even get a chance to purchase a coffee?

Out of the 6 baristas working, only 1 was actually doing making coffees, the rest were either talking to eachother or customers.

The line wrapped around the entire counter, twice.

The menus were very dirty and dingy as well🙃

I stood in line for over 30 mins to end up leaving.

as a former barista here are some tips i may like to add,

*customers are customers, only work should be talked about otherwise no personal conversations should be talked about

*working as a team, communication, and goals are three key attributes that every team member must have in order for this establishment to run properly and efficiently.

This coffee shop is super cute! This is definitely a good place to bring a first date to get some coffee and talk. They have plenty of seating and a good variety of drinks to choose from. I go the Onyx Delight and it was solid. I added an extra shot of espresso so it made it perfectly strong. The atmosphere is super cute. It's kinda like those coffee places in Korean Dramas where the main character and the lover come to meet and discuss their relationship. Then they have like a break up in that same coffee shop.
