Panda Express — Restaurant in Bentonville

Caution—this place may serve you second hand food! THEY TAKE FOOD BACK THROUGH THE WINDOW AFTER CUSTOMERS LEAVE AND RETURN WITH IT!!! Gross!!! Do they serve it to other customers??? I don’t know but I won’t be back! I brought an incorrect order back, after I had drove home with it and realized it was a wrong order. When I brought it back (with receipt) the drive through worker argued with me like I was running a scam. After I negotiated with her to get my proper order she INSISTED on taking the old food back into the kitchen theough the drive through window. After I drove off I pondered her attitude—was it because of food costs that they didn’t want to make my order right with a receipt??? Are the food costs also the reason they take food back into the window—so they can serve it to other customer and not have waste??? The attitude from the worker was offensive but taking food back into the kitchen after a customer has left with it is not only disgusting but against health code!! Wonder what other health code violations are going on...

Don't bother Ordering Ahead with the App. Twice I've tried this location using the Order Ahead feature of the Panda Express App. While the food was very good it was nowhere near convenient for me to get. The App forces you to give the employees at the location enough time to prepare the order, and both times I've had to wait 30 minutes passed the pickup time. The first time the location was busy and both I and the DoorDash waited for our orders to be made even though they were ready on the app. The second time took nearly an hour to resolve as I argued with the manager as to why they gave away my order to someone else minutes after I submitted it. Despite having set the ready time for an hour and a half out. Again once I arrived, no order ready and confused employees as to where it could have gone. The employees here have no training on how to take orders from the application and have them ready at the time/date...

(3.5) Actually much better than anticipated. I know Panda Express from their food court days and little has changed just in a free standing building now. The upsides, they will let you sample the dishes before ordering and If speed is an issue, everything is pre-cooked and ready to go. The building is clean with plenty of seating and there is a drive-thru. This certainly isn’t “gourmet” Chinese food as they foolishly claimed at one time but basically buffet Chinese that stays cleaner and fresher being served for you and of course not all you can eat. No doubt many of the complaints are legitimate, its Americanized fast food with sugar and salt as the primary flavors, baring little resemblance to actual Chinese food. I feel a bit sad for those proclaiming this “fantastic” or “great”. Please get yourself a foodie friend and experience Chinese / Asian food somewhere without...
