Don't know if I could be more disappointed with the service and food. We went on fathers day after a long day at the beach. We were greeted by the man behind the bar with that either didn't care, doesn't want to be there, or I'm not sure but was the worst server I've ever had. He gave zero effort to make us feel welcome. There was another server there that I so wish I would have had. He brought us our silver wear and napkins. One of them had food all over it. I'm not sure how he couldn't have seen this. He as usual almost ran away before we could tell him about the issue. We grabbed another set from another table. We ordered waters and was very surprised when they came in paper cups, like what you'd get at the ball field concession stand. One of them had an ant in it. We asked for another when he finally came back and a drinking glass please. We got one, the other 2 still had the paper cups. We ordered the Caprese appetizer. I've never seen it served with Roma tomatoes. It was entirely bland. Oh and served on the cheapest paper plates. What class here. Or maybe they don't want to do dishes? At this point we needed more water. Our server never came back to check on us or to fill up our water. We had to flag down the other server there to use her water pitcher with which she was filling up guests at her tables. We should have just left at this point but thought the pizza would be better so we stayed. We ordered 3 small pizzas, white pizza, Rustica, and a supreme. When they came out the server realized the supreme wasn't made, there were 2 Rusticas instead. He left all 3, and said he'd make the Supreme. He left us with the cooking trays and no plates. He didn't ask if we needed anything for our pizzas. He didn't even pick up our dirty appetizer paper plates. After about 10 minutes he came back, maybe to give us an update. We then had to ask for some parmesan. He brought back one. Not thinking to what the rest of the guests may need. It took a good 20 minutes for the pizza to be brought out. Not sure if they only have one oven or if they cared I was sitting there with no food for this long. He finally brought out the supreme and it was a large instead of the small, I'm guessing to make up for the mistakes. Again, no plates. Now we have 4 pizza cook trays, one of which is a large, and the original appetizer plates. They don't provide the pizza trays that raise them above the table, or they didn't offer us them. As I tried to serve one of the slices, I notice there's a huge puddle of what I think is grease under the slice. Again I think oh well, it's just grease maybe their cheese isn't the best. I'm hungry so I figure I'll just get past it. But when I tried to move the slice to another serving tray all of the toppings fall off. We start to notice the crust isn't cooked in the middle 2/3rds. Only the crust and most of the toppings are cooked. You can see the picture I uploaded. We didn't even try to eat it. Not sure if they can make larges, rushed it and didn't finish cooking it, don't know. How can the cook send this out? At this point we're ready to leave. We had already asked for one box when he dropped the pizza off, 10 minutes later when he was bringing that one I asked for 3 before he made it to the table. When he brought the boxes he also brought the check, he hadn't charged us for the large, only the original small. Ok first off take the entire pizza because I had to wait 20 minutes for the correct one. He took it off when I showed him the one he did bring was raw. The other 2 we did eat were eh, just ok. Not worth the experience at all. Recommendations: 1. The man should never interact with guests. I think he might be a co-owner. Hire another server, or just let the one you have do it, she know's what she's doing. This guy is ruining the business. 2. Don't serve food in paper plates, or serve water in paper cups. Every other drink comes in glass, not sure why water is different. This makes your restaurant feel cheap and not worth the prices you charge. 3. Use better ingredients, fully cook the food.

W. O. W. !!!!!!!!!!! How this establishment fell below my radar for so long baffles me! (They have been in business for four years) I don’t know where to start when it comes to the ambiance of Burn. It’s your minds most interesting thoughts gathered with elegance, then throw in a dash of amazing & there you go. The tables are lovely, the walls are filled with art that will make your head spin in a good way. Abstract, modernism, contemporary art with amazingly artful skateboards adorn the walls. You have your conversation starter right there. I am regretting not captured the images to share. GREAT sized bar, laid out perfectly with an array of liquors you may never have heard of but sure do please. You get an education that was unexpected (the owner was talking to us, hysterical guy, he was explaining some of the different alcohol choices that are comparable to what you may be accustomed to but better). It amazes me that you can have a good time and have your taste pallet changed. I love when people can explain a drink, etc. & you can learn something you never knew. Now to the food!!!!!! Ok so I’m sure we all have had pizza from a “wood oven” however, not this. There was not one part of the pizza that wasn’t crispy, no sogginess. The taste was amazingly fresh and delightful. The menu is a twist of “regular” items made bigger, better & faster. I am still in awe the next day. Every thumb all the way up for this place👍🏽 TRUST ME DO IT!!!

***UPDATE*** My wife and I came back to town with the kids this time. We had to come back to Burn. The food again was fantastic. Pizza is really good. My son had grilled chicken with potatoes and the potatoes were really good. Burn is a fantastic place. ***Original Review*** Came here on Saturday night around 7pm. We were essentially the only 2 customers. That didn't stop our server from giving us the royal treatment. He did explain that they get busy on the nice days a little later as people are outside enjoying the beach and the weather. Business did pick up while we were eating and later on looked busy when we drove by again. We ordered personal pizzas for dinner. My wife got the plain pizza and I got the sweet birn pizza. Just a fantastic pizza for both of us. The crust was fantastic amd cheese and other toppings, especially the meatballs, onions and sweet peppers on my pizza, were great. The only issue was the sauce was light on the pizza so it wasn't detectable. I didn't mind as I has so many flavors going on but the plain cheese felt like it was missing sauce even though we could clearly see it on the pizza. These are minor, I mean minor complaints as the pizza was fantastic. I would recommend 100%.

We have a vacation home not far from Berlin and we are always looking for new places to eat. After reading all the reviews, and l did read them all, l was so excited to come to this pizza place. My husband & l arrived before the place opened and then waited for a few minutes after 11am. We enter and we were greeted with a sign that stated that we were to seat ourselves and then someone from the bar area yelled out for us to sit anywhere. We sat and our waitress brought over the menus and within a few minutes she was back and took our drink order. The drinks were given to us in record time and our food order was taken as well. When we received our food, my husband ordered a pizza and l ordered sausage & pepper sub and added onions and extra sauce. What l ordered did not mention that it came with any cheese on the menu. I am lactose intolerant, and when l received my order....it had parmesan cheese on it. I asked the waitress why it had cheese on it when it did not mention it on the menu that it came with cheese. She had a befuddled look on her face and didn't offer to replace my food. The waitress just stood there not saying a word, not even an apology. My husband then just told me to scrape the cheese off. I don't send back food because l don't want the staff angry, so..... I tried to take off as much of the cheese as l could and eat around it. I used the extra sauce and it helped, but l couldn't eat it. We paid and left. I don't think that we will return even though my husband enjoyed the pizza. It is a shame because we love to support local & small businesses. We are in Berlin shopping & eating every weekend. He said that the pizza tastes almost as good as Carusso's on...

Had an absolute HORRIBLE experience tonight as a guest at the bar. The bartender was completely rushed getting our drink order, flustered when we had asked for a draft list, and did not offer a cocktail/wine list. We had overheard another customer order a specialty drink that, honestly, we would have loved to have. But we were spewed the types of beer on draft (NOT brewery or name of beer) and he only had enough patience to take one drink order. Did not offer us waters, did not ask if I had wanted anything when he brought my fiance his drink. He quickly came buy to ask if we wanted anything else and we asked for two items off the menu. That was basically the last time he stopped to give us any kind of service.

After quite some time of watching my fiance drink his beer (and one bartender pour herself a half pint to sip on while talking to another bar guest), I had to stop another person behind the bar (who didn't work there, was only there to help) for a water. The most attention we got from the original bartender was when brought out our food (in a to go bag, we did NOT order the food to go) he had taken the time to carefully tie the bag together in front of us as if to silently say "ok, here's your food, shut up and leave" since we had intended on dining in I asked the man next to use (who had ordered food to go) what he got to make sure there wasn't a mix up.

Since the food was ours we decided to just eat it there, out of the to go containers. But when I had cut the meatball in half it was not even hot!!

I work in the service industry, I know what good & bad service looks like. This was...
