Save your money. Tourist trap. No 'real' haunted items or info... just posters of things you've heard before. Ex: As soon as you walk in there is a chair. The sign reads "Haunted Chair". Okayyy... where did you get it? Who is it haunted by? Info? And the fact that it's not blocked off and they encourage you to sit in it (essentially letting it be ruined by tourists) tells you it's fake. Ditto "Haunted Doll" ..."Haunted Teddy bear"... You could literally touch these items (supporting the suspicion that they are not real because they will be destroyed by tourist hands). There's a vial with liquid that says it's tears from a funeral. What disturbed me was there's a photo album with real newspaper clippings from when Elvis died (among other notable things)... however, it is not behind glass, the newspaper clippings are not in plastic, and tourists are encouraged to flip through it. As expected, pieces of old newspapers were falling out, being torn, etc. There are plenty of fake plaster ghosts sitting in church pews (?? for what purpose.....) A small round cosmetic mirror is on a window ledge saying "Make your own orb"... you are encouraged to turn the mirror towards the window and snap a selfie, essentially ensuring you will get a round light reflection in your photo. At $11 per person, I feel robbed. I came with four folks, and all of us had the same thoughts. You are FAR better off taking the Berlin nighttime ghost tour - Extremely creepy and great historical info. Sorry Berlin Ghost Museum... I SO wanted to like...
Read moreThis is an excellent and spooky place to visit. The staff is very kind and the museum is very informative. There are a number of unique exhibits that tell the visitor about different eras and spiritual views on ghosts. I also appreciate the skeptical take that the museum has about ghosts. I plan to visit again and I hope that there will be some fun events during the...
Read moreThis museum was a ton of fun! It’s by the same curator of the Mermaid Museum and has a very similar pace and vibe. Also, it is air conditioned!! It was a great place to spend a couple of hours for a very reasonable price. Also! The gift shop was incredibly unique and the young women working the entrance was very sweet and helpful!...
