I often visit the location across town - for reasons you’ll soon find out - but was on this side of town for New Year’s Day and figured I’d begrudgingly give it another shot.
Let me preface this by saying two things: I used to work at both locations a decade ago. I’m a vegetarian so I often eat at Burger King due to the Impossible Whopper.
I attempted to order the Impossible Whopper with only cheese, lettuce, onion, and the stacker sauce (Burger King’s version of McDonalds’ Big Mac sauce) and was told that I cannot get the sauce because it’s exclusive to the specialty sandwiches and they cannot order more. I know it’s been awhile since I’ve worked there, and I know it’s not in their branding anymore, but this is a far cry from “have it your way.” I asked why and the cashier immediately offered their superior to explain why - which leads me to believe this must happen with others. Then the crusty general manager asked if other restaurants allow you to add exclusive sauces to sandwiches as she gestured towards the McDonalds next door, to which I responded “yes, many other restaurants allow you to add sauces to sandwiches for an up-charge,” her response was to then blame the system.
Now, since I’m a vegetarian, my options are EXTREMELY limited and you’re going to claim I can’t customize my sandwich with one of the specialty sauces EVEN THOUGH the specialty sandwiches don’t come in an Impossible form. Absurd decisions being made in this restaurant, because that’s what it was, a decision. Instead she said she preferred for me to leave this review. There’s a reason why their parking lot is ALWAYS empty. Do yourself a favor and go across town, better food and WAY better service. Read moreI just stopped into this location with my son in the car and the service I received was unacceptable.
Upon entering the drive through and after taking my order they asked that I pull around to window#1. I gave the worker my card, and she held onto it for around 3 minutes before she ran it. No problem, but I asked for my receipt and she stated it would be at window 2 with the food. I pull forward and get my food, upon asking for my receipt the employee stated that he couldn't provide me a receipt. I pressed forward requesting it and he stated numerous times that there was no way to provide me a receipt. He then pulled a receipt off the printer above the fry area and crumbled it up and threw it in the trash. I questioned if that was my receipt and he mumbled something before he then swore at me. I pulled around to the front of the store and called requesting to speak with the manager, it was the same employee that was incredibly rude and again stated that there was no way to provide me a receipt. I asked who his boss was and he said Alison but couldn't provide me information as to how to get ahold of her. He then hung up on me. I called back and again requested information on who to contact to get a receipt, to no avail I then called the Memorial drive location and spoke with the manager there who provided me with their parent company information.
The fact that I was not provided a receipt and then talked down to for requesting it has completely turned me off of your restaurants. I understand how stressful and hard your employees work, however I am extremely dissatisfied and will be filling a complaint with the better business bureau as well as leaving a review on...
Read moreI went through the NEW double drive thru tonight at the newly renovated restaurant on Main. The restaurant was slammed, cars around the building for drive thru! Knew would be a wait...NO PROBLEM! To expect anything else is illogical, given the amount of cars wanting FRESH burgers,etc. Getting to the window, the car in front of me was pulled up to wait for special order...I was greeted by Mason, very sweet and quick with drinks. I could see inside how super busy and all were working hard to keep up with rush. I waited patiently and got my large order. I knew they were being crushed...I told them they are doing great and not to let anyone stress them out. He smiled and said thanks. Shout out to Katie/Katy as well! Great staff, our food was fresh/hot and yummm, perfect order. NO, I AM NOT RELATED OR KNOW THESE PEOPLE PERSONALLY Customers-be patient...
