McDonald's — Restaurant in Bessemer

McDonald's only gets 3 stars from me on this visit bc the order was simple but the results were complicated!

It was NOT a busy time as there were only 2 customers in line including myself and it was between 9-10 p.m.

I ordered 2 cheeseburgers 🍔 🍔, 1 fries 🍟, 1 frappuccino, 1 hot fudge sundae, 1 Coke and finally.... 1 quarter pounder 🍔 w/bacon🥓 combo meal minus onions 🧅, and Coke for my drink. Thank you!

Requested: napkins & ketchup.

To me, after years of ordering McDonald's, this really seemed like a simple average order with some common requests.

Maybe I expect too much? Maybe I don't!

Expectations, after all, is the beginning of disappointment bc what I thought should happen did not. 😥💔

Sometimes these resentments can lead to anger.

Ex: expecting SALT, just a pinch or two not loaded, but salt 🧂 should be on french fries 🍟 Yes!? And after requesting EXTRA Ketchup and napkins, which I believe should already come with an order like this, they were not inside the bag with my meal.

So, again, I asked for the condiments I needed plus salt 🧂 bc you know when you get your order in hand the first thing you do is reach inside your bag for some fries! But 😩 ughhh 😫 how tasteless with out just a dash or two of SALT.

After I get the condiments we patiently sit and wait at the drive-thru window. The girl (employee) working the window, one of the 3 (employees) bc it took 3 to complete the order, is standing there just smiling back at us...and we tell her we are waiting on our hot fudge Sundae. OMG. She looks at us all sitting in the car, nobody is holding (hiding) a sundae, turns around asking the other employees if they gave us the sundae, No, No, Nobody did.

Now we go over the receipt making sure we ordered and paid for it. Yes! Yes we did!

Finally, McKenzie gets her sundae! And we are free to go!!!

Riding away I grab my bacon 🥓 quarter pounder cheeseburger and take a big bite only to start...

Wait - here we go again with those dang expectations and I start crunching down on a mouth full of large onions 🧅!

I HATE RAW ONIONS!!!

THEY ARE DISGUSTINGLY 🤢 SICK 🤮😡 🤢🤬

I took the onions 🧅 off and added some fries 🍟 to my bacon 🥓 quarter pounder w/cheese 🧀

My trip to this McDonald's was the worse ever. I was so surprised. There was nobody in the restaurant or drive thru. The dining room was a mess, floor was sticky, not one clean table or boothe. There was trash all over the self serve drink station. The garage cans were full and flowing out into the floor. They said they couldn't take cash for our order as they didn't have any change. We o ordered on the kiosk this is a mess, paid for our food with our card. We set at the cleanest dirtiest table there was and cleaned it with hand sanitizer and napkins is that's how we had. We were never notified that our food is ready it was just set up on the counter and then there was nobody else at the counter. We did find the guy that informed us that there was no change over on his cell phone in the back of the restaurant nobody had any uniforms on it was just a very odd experience, definitely not what you expect from McDonald's. The employees didn't have any uniforms on or name tags. I was very disappointed and surprised regarding the whole experience. Hope they can work these issues out before I think about going...

During our visit we ordered on the kiosk. After ordering we went to retrieve our cups from the counter to be told there was no ice for the drinks. When visiting the condiments there were no napkins and the area was dirty. Finding a clean table was impossible. After waiting 20 minutes we went to the service counter to inquire. First we looked at the now serving board to see our number. Our number was not on the board at all. We spoke with an employee and was told our order was somehow lost. We finally asked for our money back so we could go elsewhere to get our lunch.

After getting through our work day and looking at our account to be sure we were refunded, the employee had given us $1.50 more than our order was that we placed. Many we know won't go to this McDonald's due to the service.

We started going to this McDonald's two and a half years ago. The service and cleanliness has dropped tremendously and continues to spiral down. The owners need to check on their establishment and get the problems corrected before they no longer have a...
