Amazing food! This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Top-notch food, inviting bar atmosphere, amazing chef serving up delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, and great wine list. I recommend it to everyone! We’ve already been back again and again. Doesn't matter what you get YOU’LL LOVE IT! Just a snippet of what our pallets got to experience from their evolving menu… •Pierogis with caramelized shallots, crumbled bacon, gorgonzola, and pesto sour cream. PERSONAL FAV! •Black Nights - Sautéed artichoke hearts over spinach with horseradish aioli. • Bacon-wrapped jumbo shrimp with maple-bourbon butter and a side of tasty capellini. •”THE” Buffalo-Pops! •Mussels in a wine cream sauce DELICIOUS. •By far THE BEST french onion soup you’ll ever have. I’ve never had this version. Baked apple topped with Gruyère cheese served over a full of onion bowl of goodness.

Dragonfly offers a pleasant dining experience, with food that's a notch above average. The flavors are satisfying, and the menu provides enough variety to cater to different tastes. While nothing on the menu was particularly groundbreaking, the dishes were well-prepared, and the service was efficient and friendly. The location is a plus—easy to get to, with plenty of parking available, which makes dining here convenient. The ambiance is where Dragonfly shines. The restaurant’s décor is inspired by dragonflies, creating a unique and calming atmosphere that adds a thoughtful touch to the experience. If you're looking for a solid meal in a comfortable setting, Dragonfly is a good option.

My friend and I enjoyed a delicious meal here the other night. We both ordered the same thing for dinner, pierogies to start, then a caesar salad. Both were delicious. My drink was the cucumbertini, which was very good. For dessert I had the carrot cake and my friend got the cheese cake, from a local bakery in New Fairfield. We sat in the side room, nicely decorated for the season. The ambiance is cozy here, with a fireplace in the main room. I gave the atmosphere one less star because of a loud birthday party going on in the other room. The birthday girl clearly had over indulged. They finally left after about an hour. Our waitress Marissa was attentive and nice.

Edit: took this from a 3* to a 1* as my husband is now 🤮 - given that this was all he ate today I suspect this brunch is the most likely candidate.

I was very impressed with how inventive the menu is for the area, but was disappointed with the execution for Sunday brunch.

Drinks were good and strong. We started with the pierogi's and mussels. Both of which were okay.

I ordered the crab cakes Benedict. The crab cakes were burnt on one side, eggs poached to medium (was expecting soft), and "home fries" but received half cooked unseasoned roasted potatoes. Staff was kind enough to cook the potatoes further but seems like they lightly coated in oil and blasted them. So centers were still hard.

They should consider parboiling the potatoes, cooling them, then baking with oil, salt and pepper.

Husband ordered the pastrami hash. Was replaced with pulled pork we could only assume was from the previous nights pig roast - and as a smoker I don't think I'd ever say this - the smoke over powered the flavor of the pork itself and I didn't love it. Not sure what kind of chips or pellets they used but I would've gone with an apple...

It pains me to give one star but our experience was awful. We went on a Saturday night (2/25). It was our first time there. The interior has been done up quite nicely with the bar and the seating in the back. Our food unfortunately was not great. We had a "brisket sandwich" that was more like a boiled pot roast. Upon asking our waitress about the tasteless beef, her answer was: "I don't know, I don't eat meat." without any follow-up. They also do not have prices on the drinks menu. When asking our waitress about those, she didn't know either. She got another person to come to our table who also didn't know the prices. We were left with "our most expensive cocktail is $16 and the cheapest is $12". Okay - the one I ended up getting was billed for $10... I'm glad everybody else seems to have a good time there but we will not be back.

"I was kind enough to not leave a tip"??? What exactly was I supposed to...
