I live in New Jersey and have been looking for legit pupusas for about 10 years. I've tried the ones in Massachusetts, New Jersey and they all taste ok but not authentic. Las Vegas Nevada has some of the best pupusas I've ever tasted until I tasted the ones here. The outdoor Google maps pictures do not do this place justice. The town is actually nice and doesn't look dangerous, the business itself is a bit small inside but the food didn't take very long to come out and the service went from ok to very good. They were a bit busy when we showed up so it wasn't the best customer service but as soon as we sat the server focused his attention on us and gave us very good customer service. The food that people ordered around us looked and smelled very good. We ordered 4 mixed pupusas and 1 loroco pupusas. They were amazing. They were properly cooked and they did not skimp out on the ingredients. They were flavorful and even the sauce and the stuff you put on top tasted fresh and delicious. Definitely returning to this place and definitely ordering a bunch of pupusas...
Read moreUpon arrival at the establishment I noticed there were four vacant tables that were not currently occupied. After waiting several minutes to be seated or greeted. I decided to sit down in one of the four tables. Upon taking a seat in one of those four tables I was approached by the owner telling me that he cannot serve my family of four. When i said “Excuse me?” His reason is because theres no space available. I don't find this to be a reasonable excuse to refuse service to someone. When exiting the restaurant I waited in my vehicle as another family approached the restaurant to see if they were turned away. This was not the case, because the other family was seated and served. I don’t have time to argue with people but I do have the time to write an accurate review of the type of service you can expect. If you are looking to be embarrassed, turned away, and discriminated come to Franciscos El...
Read moreThe owner and his son are always nice and friendly. Every food I have had from here is great, I love the pupusas, the steak and the horchata and homemade lemonade.
This place is a hidden gem in Bethlehem. Not spoken about enough. The food is delicious and always of great quality and I have always loved going here since I discovered it with my at the time girlfriend whos family is from El Salvador. Now years later we're married and I still love hitting up the restaurant with my wife and kids even though we aren't in Bethlehem anymore. Specifically the pupusas are great, their steak dishes are great, and I have a specific weak spot for the horchata. Give this mom and pop shop some love if your in the area their food is great as is their hospitality. One thing to note Is that they are located on a corner and if you're picking up you'll need to park on the side of the street but there is a very small...
