Their burritos are amazing! Just because I’m obligated to compare every burrito place to Chipotle: Tulum beats Chipotle out of the ballpark. I usually get the beth mex, but decided to try the wingaritto today. The hot sauce and blue cheese combo was SO good.

So if their food is so damn good, then why the 3 stars? As I was waiting for my food today (the wait is another story), I witnessed the cashier touching food with her bare hands after ringing out a customer. After touching the credit card reader, she started assembling tacos and burritos without washing her hands or putting on gloves. She reached into the containers and grabbed cheese, toasted almonds, and lime wedges. The cook was also not wearing gloves, but she used tongs to grab the ingredients, and I never witnessed her touching any food with bare hands.

As for the wait—expect to wait around 30-40 minutes unless you call ahead for takeout. There is only one cook and one cashier who takes your order- although she does help with assembling some orders (with bare hands though...). Please take...

I visited Tulum to check out their hard shell tacos that call "The Taco" on their menu. These are fried flour tortillas that are generously filled with lettuce, cabbage, cheese, creme sauce and a choice of meat. I chose pork, which was quite good and reminded me of the filling for a pulled pork sandwich. The only down-side was the tortilla shell broke down during eating and this resulted in a "taco salad" that was finished with the "spork" supplied with the order. It was quite large and a single taco was plenty. I also ordered a pork "mini-rito" which, as the name suggests, is a small burrito. It contained rice, cheese and the same pork used in the taco. My wife chose the vegetarian tacos on corn tortillas with rice and beans. She said they were quite good. Tulum is located directly across fro Lehigh University with street parking and it appears most of their customers are to-go for students. The interior is small and accommodates 13 people if full. Tulum is a good value for what we had and worth returning to again when...

I wish i could give it more than one star because my Fish taco was amazing 10/10!!!!!! But everything else was bad. First they dont even have booths to sit at and we had to eat outside which wasnt too bad. But the big problem was the food. The Burrito was more rice And corn then anything and we just didnt enjoy it id give it a 3/10. the main problem was the beef used in our tacos, it was way way way way too salty it was unedible 0/10!! My Wife and Kids didn't even eat their food because they were so disappointed.

Seems I was the only one who enjoyed my food being that I ordered the fish taco.

the other problem I had with this place was the cook He was very rude I went inside and complimented him on the Fish taco and he just stared at me that was the second time I tried to greet him or say something nice and he looked at me like I had a third head.

safe to say I will never come back here or give them...

The sign on the door to this restaurant says.. "Come in. We're awesome". They are not wrong! Tulum is a small Mexican restaurant, really a counter serve place with three tables and a counter inside and four tables outside in the garden. The small size however is more than made up for with the outsized service and good food. One of us had some pretty stringent meat allergies that can cause issues but the ladies working here not only accomodated without issue, they even proactively suggested a modification after we'd placed the order. The staff are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and alone made the visit worth it. Add the excellent food to the mix and we hope to come back again. Although we don't live locally, we really enjoyed the visit to Bethlehem so will be sure to stop in again the next time we are in town. Thank you for a great experience.

A very small place with some seating outside and good food. Today I had a pork and veggie quesadilla. It was beautifully browned with crispy edges and topped with pico de gallo and sour cream with a colorful side salad. The loads of cheese had me won and overall the dish presented a balance of great flavors. I’ve also enjoyed their big crisp tacos and Chicharon de Queso (fried cheese) which was too big for me but would be fantastic split as an appetizer for two or more. Great, imaginative food, great ingredients and good prices. Life is good!
