Heard about this place from a Chinese food travel blogger on 小红书(little red book) chinese social media. So being in Beverly Hills for a visit I decided to pop in and try some dim sum as was talked about. I got number 8 steamed dim sum combination. Excellent as far as that goes! Grabbed some almond cookies on the way out so unsure of taste. Friendly staff and nice service for eating in. It's quaint and has the feel of a hidden gem chinese restaurant with lots of western faves. Definitely a good idea if you are alone on a Sunday night and hungry in LA.

I love Chef Ming's! This was our third time here and it's been great every time. The portions are great, food is always great, the prices are totally fair, and my favorite part is they always put a piece of cardboard at the bottom of the bag so the whole stack of food is really sturdy. I appreciate that lol! See you again soon for sure

Food was yummy. I got the chicken lo mein, chicken pan fried potstickers (but they seemed more like deep fried instead of pan fried to me, so next time I would get them steamed) and the char siu bao. Everything was really yummy and ready on time from when I placed my phone order.

I ordered two entrees to go; we were told the food was great. One order was a pepper steak and the other was an orange chicken dish. When we arrived home in Santa Monica, we realized that the orders had been mixed up with someone else’s. we immediately called the restaurant and was told sorry no problem, you will be given a credit for food on your next meal and I asked a gentleman with whom was there when I ordered the food and he remembered us said no you do not have to bring the food back, just come back when you can to pick up an entree on him. When I went back to the restaurant to claim the credit, I was welcomed with a very negative and hostile response from a woman that claimed she was the manager and refused to issue me the credit and also made me feel so embarrassed in front of the other customers in the restaurant I literally cried as I was leaving the restaurant. I coordinate travel for high end celebrities and I was talking to one of my clients and told her of my experience, and she suggested I write it on Google and that is what I am doing. No one should ever have to be treated like...

I went to this restaurant today Sunday. I'm not going again. Never was I asked how the food was? Never was I asked if I needed water. The table was dirty. The food doesn't have the chinesse flavor you would expect, a TV dinner would be better for a lot less of your money. I was wondering why no one was eating there except me and probably it is because they know better. Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else. I'm new in the area so I'm learning the hard way. Where else do they serve your food in plastic trays? To go is fine, but I like to eat out of a plate when I set down at a restaurant and I'm paying enough that I should at least eat from a decent plate not some throw away trays. This is very scary! In the 80's I used to live here in LA and there was some great chinesse food around- things have gone down hill. Sorry to rant so much but please don't waste your...

I tried to order online and while the transaction went through my bank their system did not pick it up. Instead of trying to help me figure it out they said that kept telling me to reorder and that it may have went to another location even thoughI called the other location and showed them proof that it was this location. Then after trying to pay directly their system kept saying my card was declining after the bank told me there is no issues with my card. The lady at the register continued to be rude and refused to try and help me only telling me that it should be on the system and after trying to pay twice it proved that their system is messed up. I do not recommended ordering online or if you are having card issues at the restaurant to continue to try to work with this restaurant they will not help and will be...
