Clark Street Bakery — Restaurant in Beverly Hills

This location falls short compared to the one in Larchmont, the vibe is non existent, the service was slow even though this place is tiny and there weren’t many people, coffee was just ok but the pastries is where they really fell short, triple chocolate chip cookie left much to be desired, and the cardamom bun definitely wasn’t as good as I remember from the other location. Not sure if the prices here are higher because it’s in Beverly Hills but this one hit the wallet harder as well. This cafe sits where an Israeli restaurant used to be. The bakery is good - nice, fresh breads. But the lunch left a bit to be desired. I got the French herb omelette, but it was filled with too much black pepper, which overwhelmed the taste of anything else. It would also be nice if it came with a little side salad or something. Due to living in the neighborhood we received a coupon for a free loaf of bread. We decided to go and get breakfast this morning with the pups. The restaurant was small but there was enough space to order and get what we needed. We sat outside with the dogs and our food came right away.
