This was one in a lifetime experience. Walking into the special enormous room at the hotel... the incredible view took my breath away. I was shocked by the greeter as she called me by name and escorted me to a bar where I got to try the welcome drink which was refreshing and tasteful. I enjoyed how the chef and team made this personal and told stories about each piece of sushi they created. I enjoyed every single piece of it and to my surprised I was satisfied but never felt like I feel each time I go to other sushi restaurants (feeling blowed or like passing out after eating so much rice). The way they prepare the rice is not as sticky thus you are supposed to eat it with your hands. But they provide a wet towel for you to clean your hands constantly. The bartender was next level and I really enjoyed how attentive he was to what I wanted. I also enjoye the personal connection with other people in the 10 member group who was there that evening. What I really enjoyed was seeing my name written correctly and spelled as I spell my name next to each personalized bite.

I've been to several of the Michelin-starred sushi restaurants in the LA area (Sushi Ginza, Nozawa Bar), and this place not only holds its own with them, but in many ways *surpasses* them both in terms of the quality of the dishes and the overall experience. Among other things, this menu is much more *flavorful* than the dishes you get at other Omakase places, showing more creativity in preparation and use of ingredients. The staff also does a great job of livening up the atmosphere while you're enjoying your dishes. Our favorite dishes were the Toro and the Wagyu, but all of them were amazing (though remember to substitute the Uni if you don't like Uni!). Thoroughly enjoyed it, and highly recommend it!

Been looking for our go-to Omakase in LA, and after about 3-4 attempts, we finally found our spot!

Located inside a hotel lobby, the atmosphere was super fun and classy.

The dining room is a bit small and tight, so I did have to let the party next to me sit first before I could push my chair in, but thankfully the parties around us were very very friendly and personable, and by the end of the night, their drunken energy was super fun in the small room.

10 seats max per service, 3 services per day.

The servers were fantastic; so kind, professional, knowledgeable, and knew how to keep pumping the right vibe.

The bartender put my mocktail on the house so how can we not love that. Thank you kind gentleman, fellow Midwesterner!

Sushi was amazing, and I loved that the food came out quickly. All 16 courses + 17th dessert came out pretty much back to back with no super long wait in between, which can be annoying at other Omakases.

THE ONLY NOTE: I would replace the bone marrow next time. I usually love bone marrow, but to have a whole bite of bone marrow was a bit too intense/rich.

And while we were eating the bone marrow piece, the server was chopping up the bone marrow to prepare for the next piece (which was amazing), but that visual was not too appetizing while eating a bone marrow piece that’s already sensitive.

The lady next to us loved the bone marrow, so this is 100% personal preference.

However, on the last Unagi piece, they torched the remaining bone marrow on top of the Unagi, letting the bone marrow grease drizzle on the Unagi. Now that was absolutely amazing. That’s exactly how we like our bone marrow: as a topping/subtle taste.

Anyway, can’t wait...
