This is my experience with this dentist. Sadly I can’t recommend, in fact I recommend you stay away.

I went in because I chipped a tooth. They said they can’t repair the tooth and that they will have to give me a crown. They charged me $1450 for the crown. After getting the crown, I found that I was extremely sensitive to cold and it hurt when I bit down on food. Still hurst two weeks later so they adjusted the crown by essentially shaving it down. (I’m sorry, I don’t know what the correct medical term is.) Two after that same thing, same result. They ended up shaving it down TOO MUCH and my bite is off by a lot. I’m still sensitive to cold and it still hurts when I bite down on food.

Shortly after all this adjusting happened, A CROWN that this same office had put in about three and a half years earlier FELL OUT OF MY MOUTH. Crowns shouldn’t last that short amount of time but the one this office put in fell out. Something felt off about this dental office so I changed dentists.

When I asked for all my records the assistant was hesitant to give them to me. Asked me why do you need them? Because they are mine and I want them. It took three tries and a visit to the office in person for them to finally e-mail me everything, but even then instead of just e-mailing me the records, I got asked multiple questions like “which ones do you need,” and “why do you need them?”

I went to me new dentist and upon hearing that I went to Dental Group of Beverly Hills she exclaimed “TOTAL SCAMMER. Know this guy. HE SCAMMED YOU BIG TIME!” She also informed me that he did not officially charge me for a crown. He reported an onlay/inlay. She looked at my bill and my insurance and said that insurance would have covered a crown. By charging me for an onlay/inlay he made an extra $1300 off of me.

I tool this information and I filed a grievance with Health Net. They determined that my options were not fully explained to me and REFUNDED ME IN FULL. Who knows how many other of their patients this has happened to.

I came for my teeth cleaning today (9/22/22) and was very pleased with Noreen the hygienist after she was done with the procedure. She also took the time to show me how to properly use a dental floss since I was doing it wrong! Not only that, she also instructed me to use a specific tooth brush that won't be too abrasive since I also was using the wrong type of tooth brush. I know these are basics but if I didn't ask her, then I would have continued to do it my way, which will only make my teeth to develop further damage down the road. I've learned a lot from her today so I don't continue to damage my already compromised dental issues. THANK YOU, Noreen for being patient and taking the time to explain everything before I left your clinic. God Bless YOU, and the rest of the crew at Dental Group of Beverly Hills in being pro active in taking care of your patients by educating them about health prevention in dental care and etc. This is my 2nd review thus far which is always top notch service so I'm giving this clinic 5 STARS!!! I don't normally write reviews but taking the time to do now! I had a deep teeth cleaning done yesterday (Feb 22nd, 2022), and was seen by Cynthia, the dental hygienist. I've always had an aversion to pain so she explained everything to me, what to expect, etc before doing the procedure. She put me at ease right away!

My fears vanished when she started the process because she was very gentle, making sure I was comfortable from beginning to end. When everything was over, I didn't feel any pain at all. She also made sure I knew what to do, what not to do after my treatment.

Based on my personal experience I would definitely give Dental Group of Beverly Hills (5) FIVE...

I cannot say enough good things about the Dental Group of Beverly Hills. The front desk staff is wonderful, friendly, and accommodating. They also give all the details before embarking on the next steps in treatment. The technicians/dental hygienists are caring, thorough, and gentle. Cleanings have always been a great experience and I always leaving feeling like I received an amazing cleaning. And the doctors/dentists are superb. Every time I see the doctors/dentists, they have give so much time, clear explanations, specific plan of approach, and like their technicians/dental hygienists, they are super caring, warm, thorough, gentle, and always get the job done so much so, that I leave knowing my dental health is in good hands and I have dental care with the objective for longevity for my dental health. This kind of care is a rare find in my opinion. Do yourself the favor and schedule an appointment here if you are not already one of their lucky patients. I have been going here for some time and I am grateful to have found them. Really really appreciative. PS, I am just a patient. I do not work here, I am just a grateful patient spreading the word. I just wanted to add to my review. I went again to this office today, and once again they were terrific, accommodating, so kind and warm. The only reason why am adding to this review is because the quality of this office is consistent from the front desk, to the dental technicians/hygienists, and the dentists themselves. Please don’t play around with your health. Go somewhere where they actually care. Dental group of Beverly Hills truly is that kind of...
