The door beep as I was leaving with my bag. the jewelry employee asked us to go to her so she can check my bag. She checks my bag, then she ask my husband to walk through with my jewelry i purchase, then she asked my husband to walk through with my tech item I purchased. Then to walk through with nothing. Then asked me to to walk through the door. And accuses me of having something and each time an item want through the door it did not beep at all not once. However I feel like I was discrimination against because I was a blk woman and my husband a blk man. I was highly upset and I called the store ask for the store Mgr and all she did was apologize about the incident, however I asked her to review the tape and see how I was so disrespect, Customers was walking by looking at me and watching me I will never step foot in that store again and if you are a black men or woman I advice you to go some place else don't get yourself embarrassed. Read moreI visited the store today and saw the store manager being extremely rude to one of her employees. She yelled at him and threatened to fire him if he didn’t answer what she was asking. The employee answered several times, but she insisted on getting the right answer. Two customers got very upset about the incident and started asking the store manager to be more respectful toward the employee. She even yelled at the customers, and asked them if they were parents or what to defend him. They replied, they didn’t have to be family to stop that unfair treatment. The customers said the employee was a worker not a slave and she had no right to treat him badly. I really like shopping at this store, but I truly believe this lady’s behavior damages TJ Maxx...

I followed TJ Maxx’s instructions and contacted customer service after the store refused to process my return. Today, I spoke with a representative named Fitavious, who—like the store manager—denied my refund, despite the fact that I provided clear proof of purchase through my credit card.
I attempted to return the items just three days after purchase, with all tags intact. Even without the physical receipt, the transaction matched my card exactly. Still, I was only offered store credit.
This experience has been deeply disappointing. TJ Maxx chose to ignore fairness and basic customer service. I expected more from a national retailer.
