To whom it may concern,
When visiting your location at 2480 East Main Street I was extremely disappointed. I have worked in the food service industry before and I am very unhappy to have had such a lackluster experience at your store.
Your location said they were out of lettuce, and that they only had white bread. The situation could have easily been remedied. Rather they were out of lettuce that was already chopped up, they could have taken an employee off of the line to prep more lettuce for several minutes. Or if they were out of lettuce all together, someone could have taken the initiative to take some of the stores petty cash and go to the Kroger grocery store about .4 miles away to purchase more lettuce. Further more, they could have prepped more bread throughout the day in order to have other kinds of bread available for consumption.
When we walked in there were about 4-5 employees working, and they did not appear to be very busy while we were there.
I am anxiously awaiting your response to remedy this situation
PS - I have never been to a Subway, Jimmy Johns, Penn Station, or other sandwich shop, that has ran out of lettuce or other bread options before.
PSS - I am just now eating my sandwich and the employees failed to mention that it would also be missing the cheese, and the dressing. So I basically have meat on white bread, and I paid $17 for two...
Read moreI’m not a sandwich eater, but I had a craving and decided to indulge in a philly on wheat. It was okay- but too salty for my liking. The wheat bread was cool. However, the store needs work! The dining area was dirty and the cooking prep area, including the grill, floor and sandwich prep table/counter were in need of cleaning. There was visible spillage on the counters and everyone just made sandwiches right on top of the mess. There was food on the outside of my bag when I examined it before putting it on my car seat. I was surprised at the amount of cross contamination that was going on (I read the sign in the store about cross contamination, which is understandable, but it was way too much of it). All the meats were cut using the same blade and they never wiped it! So, if you don’t eat pork or meat, this is not the place to go because they really don’t wipe the blades between orders or change gloves. Maybe they do, but they didn’t while I was here and four separate orders were made. The employees weren’t unkind, they just seemed to be understaffed and maybe need better sanitation training. It took 15 minutes to order. Which I understood because the customer before me ordered...
Read moreI know this store could care less about my terrible experience... But I'm going to tell it any way. Not only did I patiently wait over 20 mins fpr my food, but the mean lady with the dread locs dropped my sandwich on the floor. When I said it was a problem with an attitude she tells me "ITS IN A BAG" seriouslyyyyyyy this is what we are doing. On top of that she goes back to cooking on the grill like she did not JUST TOUCH THE FRIGGIN GROUND! She was also extremely rude to these set of paraplegic women who asked for the sandwich to be cut in quarters. Had a total attitude because they did not say it when they ordered 🙄. I mean theee entire experience was the most awful I had experienced at one of there locations. I am beyond hungry and I chose to write this because someone needs to do something about her behavior. She literally put the ground on the buns by not washing her hands or at minimal changing gloves. Yucky establishment in the middle of bexley for Pete's sake. I no longer support...
