The Hamburger Stand, Inc. — Restaurant in Biddeford

Tried this place for the first time today. Went with some friends. Two of us forgot a mask but we were the only customers and eating outside where there was no one. The owner took our order and said she'd bring it to our table. Was completely fine with two of us not wearing a mask. Some of the workers werent wearing one or had them on their chin so they obviously aren't strict about it. Then she had the nerve to walk up to our table while we were waiting 20 minutes for our food. And was like "I heard you're not wearing masks. You need to have one the second you get up or you cant be here. I wouldn't have taken your order if I knew that " to which we responded YOU did take our order and saw two of us didnt have a mask and said nothing and now you are over here yelling at us. And she said. "Its so busy today that I didnt even notice you werent wearing a mask while I was taking your order." We were the only customers and they had one curbside. Unacceptable service, unprofessional behavior, mediocre food and they didnt even give sauce even though we asked and no cheese on the cheeseburger. Not going back. Absolutely...

Really love this place, the burgers are legit homemade feeling and it’s a really great addition to the Biddeford area which doesnt have much in the way of places like these that arent fast food. All of the food ive had here has been perfect 👌

The older lady who is usually at the register is an absolute sweetheart and always a pleasure to order from. My only real critique is the younger person also working at the time was a little overly curt and short with me. Coming to the register as if ready then barking at me “give me a sec” before walking off and someone else came up.

Look I get it, I worked in the service industry for 7 years and I will give the benefit of the doubt because everyone is allowed to have a bad day but I was the only person in there at that time and it wasnt busy then. I almost went to chic fil a but wanted to go here because their burgers are so good/want to support a local business. Just food for thought, will definitely...

First time going here. I called my order in and paid over the phone with a credit card.

They were very quick less than 7 minutes the food was broken to my vehicle curbside. The staff were all polite and friendly. I felt bad I didn't have cash for a tip and there was no cc slip to add it to.

The food was carefully packaged. They were considerate and included napkins, ketchup, vinegar and a little fork to eat the fries with.

The burger and dog were nicely cooked and had a good char-broiled flavor. The sautéed onions still had a little bite to them which I enjoy greatly.

The only negative is the fries weren't crispy, maybe because I drove a few minutes before consuming them, otherwise a great meal.
