BiddoBanh — Restaurant in Biddeford

My wife and I travel a lot and always try to find good local Bahn Mi places. BiddoBahn really delivers, upstaging the previous best we found which was in Salt Lake City, UT. The staff is wonderful, friendly and attentive. The online ordering was quick, easy, efficient, and you pay online so you can just grab and go. The drinks are made to order when you arrive (so they're fresh), and the food was ready at the estimated time. Special note to their boba drinks, they are creamy and tasty! But let me tell you, their food is truly excellent. The bread has that great outer crunch while the inside is soft, chewy, and robust. The veggies were crispy and fresh, and the marinated meat was so flavorful, juicy, and fresh. Bahn Mis are hard to make exceptional, and these were that. I cannot say enough good things about BiddoBanh. From the food, to the service to the atmosphere it was an amazing experience overall. . We got the Cold cut banh mi’s, the lemongrass beef rice bowl and a taro bubble tea. The bread is toasted to perfection. The patè & homemade mayo are probably my favorite part about the banh mi’s. The rice bowl was perfectly portioned and the flavor of the beef was excellent. The taro bubble tea was also great as it wasn’t overly sweet & the boba was soft and fresh. We got our food and drinks within fresh 10 minutes. Their menu is a perfect size providing enough options while still small enough to focus on quality. I can say it’s the best bahn mi I’ve had in maine so far. Good portion size and a familiar, delicious taste. It’s definitely pricier than what i’m used to at $13.50 for Pork. But in the Portland area, it just might be the best you can get. So in that case, It’s worth the price!

My only suggestion is that maybe they add the options for a small side? Perhaps little soups of some sort? That would be perfect.

Overall great experience, second time here and will def be coming back....
