My wife and I recently visited your location and had an extremely disappointing experience. From the start, the bald employee with tattoos made the interaction uncomfortable. He repeatedly acted like he couldnāt understand my wife, who has a slight Spanish accent ā even as she clearly repeated ingredients like āavocadoā multiple times. She literally repeated āavacadoā 3 times clearly and he acted like he had no idea what she said. He exaggerated his confusion each time until I stepped in to repeat it myself. His tone and expressions were dismissive and disrespectful. I couldnāt tell if he was just rude or if prejudice was involved, but either way, it was unacceptable.
To make things worse, he made the wrong salad, even though we clearly asked for two separate ones. Later, when my wife asked to add quinoa, a second employee - a young lady, near the register gave her attitude, as if the request was a problem.
I rarely complain, and am not a āKarenā but this was one of the worst customer service experiences weāve had. We left feeling frustrated and disrespected, and we wonāt be returning which is a shame because the food is actually not bad. I hope management takes steps to address how customers are...

However, let me explain the 4 stars for atmosphere. I usually pay for meals in cash, there was a sign at the register that read "cards only" or something along those lines. Ok that's not a huge deal I'll use the debit card. No problems. As usual I skip the tip prompt on the machine assuming I could tip my servers in cash. WRONG! I was informed that they're not allowed to take cash tips. I tip in cash so that the staff are guaranteed what I would prefer them to recieve. If they feel like claiming it for tax purposes that's their business. My question to management or the owner is, Why am I not able to pay or tip in legal tender? Possibly there's a perfectly reasonable explanation, maybe it's forgotten policy that was put in place during Covid? Maybe it's to force the employees to share tips? I won't speculate too much but if I could get a reply to this review explaining their reasoning I would be very excited to be educated on this topic. The food and staff are fantastic though! PS the frescas really hit the spot...

The smoothie tasted like water and spinach. I had to throw the whole thing away. I think Iād rather have someone spit in my food if it was actually to temp. I left a review on door dash and I called and was told they would remake it. I came in and there was a few people that helped one was named Kyra, Pedro, and the other I believed was named jade. Iād feel so bad if I got her name wrong because she remade me the food, she did an amazing job. They all offered a great welcoming atmosphere and they were very kind. I was surprised to hear that neither of the girls I talked to were in management because they were so professional.
