Edit: Since the event and original posting the owner of the local store reached out and discussed options to making the situation right. Upon correspondence a settlement outcome was agreed upon.
Original post: We recently had Dickeys BBQ cater our wedding and what a headache it has been and on multiple levels. Our original quote/booking was done via their corporate services in February with everything finalized on our order and paid in full prior to the event in June. Day of our wedding the catering staff arrived at the venue with 2 out of the 9 trays of their taco platters that we had ordered for our guests for cocktail hour. Upon speaking with a staff member on site they went back to the store and returned with an additional 2 trays and at that point had the audacity to ask if we wanted the remaining 5 trays that we had already paid for and that they were ready to go. Said staff member left to retrieve them and never returned. The remaining staff members on site proceeded to tell us that the food for our order was taken to fulfill other orders for the day. Putting aside the fact we were left with minimal appetizers for 155 guests we made it to dinner service where they failed to deliver an entire order of selected side. In going into the local store the following Monday we were informed by the acting store manager that they had to feed over 1000 people on that single day and that we didn’t get our side salad because they ran out of lettuce. Since the event we have been given the run around by both the local store (which mind you is located directly across the street from our wedding venue) and the corporate office in attempting to get a refund for the copious amount of food ordered and paid for but never delivered. This entire experience has been less than stellar in the customer service department and the only reason why a 1 star rating is warranted is on account of the food that was delivered being good. Really hoping to get our money back or at this point even a call back for that matter. Read moreI am extremely upset and beyond mad with the experience my husband and I went through with this place. I ordered Dickey's off of the DoorDash app, after all the picking and choosing, I ended up spending over $80.00 for this meal I only got half of when it was finally delivered.
When I called the store to just see if we could get the rest sent out I went through a long drawn-out hold and told my only options were to accept a "credit" for the next time I spent money there or, I could drive down there and get the other half of my food that I paid delivery for. Girl on the phone was so rude and offered no real solution when I explained the reason I chose delivery was due to an injury and I was unable to drive. Ended up having my husband come home so he could run there for me because I just spent $80 on dinner.
I would have hoped it should have been easy, go in tell the girl he was there for my order and then boom; food. This was not the case, not only did she yell and use foul language at my husband but also purposely under portioned my missing pound of brisket. Then my husband had to remind her about my pecan pie slice to which she tried to tell him that I didn't get pie... we talked on the phone maybe 15 mins before the interaction so. She then yelled at my husband saying "Don't tell me how to do my job", just unbelievable behavior. Then after she realized she messed up, must have smashed my pie because when I got it, it wasn't pie anymore.
For $80.00, I am truly disgusted by the way that girl acted towards me and my husband when it was clearly Dickey's fault my order was incorrect. For her to yell at my husband is completely unacceptable. For a week I have been trying to call and speak with a manager or owner and either someone picks up and immediately hangs up or it just rings forever.

Read moreI placed an order tonight through Uber eats around 7pm. Two giant bakers with meat and two kids meals and an additional side of okra. However what I received was 1 singular giant baker with meat. No bbq sauces either, and a side of loaded mashed potatoes, and a large Sweet tea. So over half of my order was missing and the items we did receive were not correct. Now mind you I immediately try resolving the issue through the app, I understand that this is no fault to Dickeys but I was only able to be refunded half my order, no redelivery options available. So I thought I would try to reach out to the establishment themselves to see if they could just make the items I was missing and I would pick it up, because my kids were upset and at this point fairly hungry. As was I. I call the store, and there was an option to press if you had issues with a third party order and so I press option three to just get a message telling me to resolve the issues in the app for the third party delivery. Frustrated I get back to the main menu of the phone tree in attempts to talk to someone, however it was absolutely fruitless. I could understand maybe they were out of certain items for my order, but nobody tried to contact me about this, and if they were out of items for over half my order why even bother confirming the order? Why wouldn’t they cancel the order, or why would they be accepting orders? I don’t know if that was the case or not, but to receive not even half of my items is completely inexcusable.
