Placed an online order yesterday (10/31) to be picked up by 1145 am. Got there five minutes early. Place was busy. Nothing ready but girl at register kept checking and apologized for delay. Offered me a cookie for having to wait. I declined. Cold sandwiches finally ready, but now waiting on hot sandwhich. Girl checked but not ready. Offered me a cookie or brownie decline again. She escalated my sandwich issue, which she stated is the owner. He was all over the situation. Moved my hot sandwhich order to the front of the and told the cook this needed to be now. He apologized for the inconveniences and gave me a coupon for free sandwiches. He explained that the shift was short two employees. I stated that I understood because I know how that is when my on team is short staffed and others have to pick up the responsibilities of others.
The girl at the counter continued to check on me. I could hear her talk with other customers stating she always wants to provide them with the best customer service. She was attentive to ever customer and continuing to deal with incoming online orders to get them in front of those who needed to get working on them. Plus she did no waiver do to how busy they were and dealing with the many things going on at once. She always kept a smile.
My sandwich was finally ready. The owner and the girl at the resigster apologized again and thanked me for my business.
You may think I should have given a lower rating, but they took care of my situation. They made it right in my mind. When I got back to work with the sandwiches for my team, low and behold there was a brownie and another free sandwich coupon in the bag.
I will be back as I believe in supporting businesses that want to do the customer right.
To the owner, Thank you and I recommend keeping an eye on your employee at the register yesterday. She believes in customer service and really showed that yesterday. Not many of the younger generation believes in that and she may be your next super star that you need to keep moving your business forward...
Read moreMe and my wife had a very pleasant experience at this place yesterday(the Shiloh location). We had received a couple “free regular sub” coupons from a friend so we figured we’d give it a shot. A younger fella with glasses and a necklace seemed to be running the place and was very polite and informative of all of our options with the coupons and some popular favorites. I ordered the Turkey and Provolone and was pleased to see all meat and cheese is freshly sliced per order. Also the amount of meat we received was amazing!! Couldn’t even finish the whole thing!! Also the young man recommended that I get it “Mikes Way” which I now highly recommend as well. This means they add a perfect blend of oils, vinaigrette’s and seasoning for a perfectly flavored sandwich. And it was perfect. Basically this is my new fresh sub sandwich destination. From the personable staff to the clean store to the plentiful portions and the delicious food itself, I cannot say enough good things about this place. Don’t believe me, go ahead and try...
Read moreWell that was a disaster. Five people working, three people in line and it took 45 minutes for them to complete a one sandwich order because they guy in front of me wanted avocado on his sandwich and they ran out. Four employees go in the back room to make the avocado. They were gone for 10 minutes leaving the novice at the counter. Poor kid couldn't figure out that he could make the sandwiches behind the avocado guy's order. We all waited and waited...one lady got her order the kid started to ring her up then walked away without taking her payment. Assistant manager finally comes out takes an order from the guy behind me in line and directs him to go to the front of the line to pay for his order. Poor kid on the line just backs another sandwich behind the four that are already in line. Someone needs to train this crew. Assistant manager is singing "I think I can fly" and she can't even make a sandwich..starts slicing ham and cheeee for the next order and we wait for the avocado from...
