Wendy's — Restaurant in Billings

The Heights Wendy's is a disgrace!!! Tonight we ordered two burgers and a fry and none of it was right. I ordered my burger with NO cheese, no mayo, add mustard (since when is mustard not included in the standard "everything"). Not only did my burger come with mayo and no mustard but there were TWO pieces of cheese, one below the meat and one above it. There was so much salt on the cold limp fries that it looked like they were covered in snow. Seriously, we poured them into a bowl and tossed them around a little and had about a tablespoon of salt in the bottom of the bowl (not a teaspoon, a tablespoon) before we put the fries under the broiler to warm them a bit. It was late and we were hungry. We would have taken it back and demanded a new order but it was closing time and they were outta-there.

A few weeks ago I visited at about 30 minutes before closing time and was told I could not order a burger because they were cleaning the grill. I asked why they are bothering to be open if they can't serve burgers and they told me I could choose something else. I said I would have a chili and they apologized for being out for the day. Seriously, why not just turn off the lights and go home. The Heights Wendy's has been very poor at night for a very long time. We work late nights and have been avoiding them for a few years now. After a while Burger King (the only other late choice) gets old so we tried Wendy's again. And boy do we regret it. In my day of working at Wendy's we only cleaned half the grill at a time and deep cleaning that took a bit longer was done in the a.m. during prep (no breakfast in those days) or AFTER closing at night. We didn't keep any fries up late at night and cooked them to order so they would be fresh. We made the sandwiches the way the customer wanted them, one at a time as the order was called (tonight took more than 5 minutes to get it out the window & it wasn't because they were waiting on the fryer) and made them in 7 seconds. And we answered the phone even when it was 2 minutes after closing instead of pulling a pick-up-hang-up after three rings...repeatedly.

Extremely slow service!!! There were at least 3 people in the back working in the kitchen and one person supposed to be taking orders. This person that was supposed to be taking orders, took the order in front of me and then literally stood and waited until that order was complete and on trays and picked up before he would acknowledge me as a customer! He would walk and get one or two items from the people in the kitchen and then wait some more. This was at least 10 minutes before being acknowledged. The other crew members looked in my direction a few times and just kept talking amongst themselves. When the person supposed to be taking orders did acknowledge me and take my order, it was not filled correctly as an item was completely left out. The restaurant's tables and floors were very dirty. Ordered through Doordash. already went through everythign with them. Called store manager. While polite to me, she was very rude and nasty to the dasher who delivered my food. Was explained to me that they had a whole new roster of new employees who are being trained. My food order was incorrectly made and an item was missing on it. The manager verified to the dasher that the order was correct when in fact it was not. Its the managers responsibility to ensure all food is made correctly and bagged correctly before leaving the store or going into the customers hands and this did not happen today. It does not matter if an employee is new. That is not their fault - they're learning. Don't doordash wendys, and if you get them ensure you check your order before leaving the parking lot for...
