Wish this place would be a model of what a fabulous restaurant is suppose to be. It has excellent management with a hands on owner. It was delightful to speak to him. It is so difficult to eat out when you have food allergies believe me. The waitress went spoke to cook about what I was ordering to make sure I wouldn't have an allergic reaction. Each time I have gone there it is consistent. The food is cooked just right. So " d e l i c i o u s ". I ordered a non-alcohol Pina Colada. Mediterranean salad. All ingredients.." F r e s h ! ". I ordered the Bison Burger, cooked just the way I asked for. By the way my third visit I asked who was the cook asked if I could speak to him, out came Bedo. He made sure the ingredients with my food allergies checking all seasonings. Very impressive young man; " Bedo"because he is indeed a excellent chef. He loves his passion for cooking. I told him you know the bathrooms here are clean..I know you kitchen is clean. He said you know my kitchen is clean; oh yes I make sure it's clean. Bedo is delightful. He is passinate about his food. You know folks you can tip the Chef folks too! Especially if you are "Happy with your meal!". And I did on my 3rd visit. I had the teriyaki flank steak. So good it was. Kudos to Bedo! He's a gem. So are all three of my servers I have had too. All the managers are cordial. They appreciate and want to know if you need something or can make an issue resolved. It's important to them. They love their job because of the owner they are working for.. Sir Jeff. Good management is a reflection so rare to find these days but Sir Jeff cares about his employees and takes pride of his and knows them by name. Lovely Ms Madison, Ms Erica wonderful server's, patient and accommodating. The crew click together you can see that at the Biloxi location. The atmosphere there is so pleasant. It's been consistent for my experience each time. I intend to keep going there. I hope those who read this review that you will to make it as your to go to place too, as I do. Even if you are a one time tourist or just driving thru that you will enjoy this spot! Please do whatever goes wrong they will make it 👉 Right. Thank you enjoy and give it a try.....

Gordon Ramsey would have had a field day. Where to start? Well, my burger wasn't medium rare, medium, or medium-well. I usually forgive an establishment for overcooking my burger, it's understandable. Somehow, the cuisine on the table fared between well-done and jerky. I actually am giving Woody's 2 stars because it's impressive how well-done that patty was, yet simultaneously not be burnt. I didn't think it was possible to totally forget you had ground meat on the grill for an hour and not come back to it being black and crispy, but miracles happen. Now, the reason I don't order any meat past medium-well is because overcooking meat destroys all of the juiciness and taste. Overcooking shouldn't even be an option for the worst cuts of meats, and I would say the same about my burger today.....if it wasn't for the generous amount of black pepper used to season the patty. I'm thinking the kitchen either accidentally spilled an entire shaker of black pepper or realized the patty was so beyond saving that they only way I could taste anything was to douse it in pepper, because if that's the normal seasoning a cook uses, I'm grateful I didn't order anything actually peppered on the menu. No salt though, my blood pressure appreciates that. Alongside by overcooked patty was, you guessed it, overcooked gouda cheese. At least I think it was gouda. Honestly, they could have used kraft singles and I wouldn't have been able to tell any difference. Once you hit a certain point, all things blend together. And the pulled pork and bacon? Well, it was so unrecognizable as pork that one could actually consider it kosher. I didn't get any lettuce, tomato or onions, but they would somehow be burnt too. No doubt about it. The waitress was nice though, and I didn't want to ruin her day. But me and the chef have a grudge, and I would have gladly paid Woody's $13 to not eat the food and ruin my appetite...
Read more🙄 was sat at the bar, which I never do. Sat there for several minutes, waiting, waiting, waiting, the bartender finally asked what I'd like to drink, the usual, sweet tea w/🍋. Got tea no lemon, waited, waited, waited, finally the bus boy or man that was putting the clean glasses up asked have you been waited on,,no I haven't, so he takes my order, thankfully. . Redfish and Royal Reds, lemon peppered, mashed taters, asparagus, and salad 🥗. He then went to tell the bartender what I wanted, finally got the salad, with watered down ranch,I think it was ranch,it poured out like water,no good, the 🍅,2 wedges, was red but not ripe. Had to use my pocket knife 🔪 to cut it up,the lettuce was so wet and hard ,so I gnawed on it,4 very thin pieces of onion, couldn't stick them with the fork, had to slide them out the plate, very little cheese, then 47 seconds later my redfish and 1 Royal Red with 4 other regular shrimp 🍤 and taters and asparagus came out. So ate that first before it got any cooler. The ONE Royal Red was good, the fish was good, the sauce was good, the asparagus was great, the taters, well, instant was ok. Wolfed that down, then tried to enjoy my watered-down salad and ranch, with the last couple of swallows of tea, never saw the bartender after the salad. And finally just covered it up with my napkin and put it to sleep. Not a good trip to Woodys. They were kind of busy ,but not that busy. I recommend not sitting at the bar unless you're drinking alcoholic beverages. Probably be awhile before I...
