HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! My family has been using this hotel, formerly Super 8, for over 10 years to host our annual family gathering. This year was by far our worst experience! The new owner, Sunni, is a horrible business man and very deceitful! For starters, they lost their contract with Super 8 due to their inability to make the necessary repairs on the building. Hence is the reason why Sunni now manages the business. The rooms smell like they have mold in them, roaches crawling on the floor/walls, A/C units not functioning properly, and the rooms were not clean. When we arrived, we explained to his staff that we had 5 reserved rooms just like we do each year. Long story short, he lied about the pricing for the room, and double charged not only my mother, but each person that paid separately for their room. We were not told in advance about any additional charges. They kept our credit cards on file, and charged us without our consent! I never provided authorization to charge my card. His resolution to my mother was to go around the city to collect money due that they charged to her credit card without permission! These folks are scammers! They will take your money, and don’t care about the customer. The entire stay was a disaster. We’re usually able to use the pool, play music, and host our family event. This visit, the pool closed at 8. It was still daylight! We had to request additional towels and toiletries. We were told to turn our music down, which we did around 6pm. After turning the music down, he sent his staff over to ask us to turn it completely off 1 hour later. After we started packing up, they sensed that we were upset about the ordeal, and came back to let us know that we can turn it back on if we kept it at the same volume. By this time, we were completely disgusted with his approach and unwillingness to make us feel welcomed at his facility. We will NEVER return to this hotel! And I recommend you not using them as well. If you’re visiting Biloxi anytime soon, I recommend finding a nice Airbnb for your stay. This place is not even worth paying $10/night. It’s filthy. And it looks absolutely disgusting on the inside. Sunni has a horrible attitude. STAY AWAY FROM...
Read moreStaff was friendly and accommodating, but the rooms and facilities were in awful shape. I've stayed at this location many times in the past and enjoyed it, but it's gone down hill. The initial room was along the back of the hotel and had lots of people smoking and drinking near by - the room was a smoking room, even though we didn't request that. Went back to the front desk and were moved indoors near the lobby, the room was manageable, but on the 2nd night it rained and the pool flooded - the drains outside weren't cleared so the water flooded our room and all other rooms leading up to the front desk. Had to walk through ankle deep water to get to the front desk to let them know the rooms were flooding. The didn't seem too concerned at this point and weren't alerting other rooms (it was 11pm or so). They attempted to move us up stairs even though my mother has mobility issues (other families were bagging up items and leaving all together). I checked out the room and the ceiling was covered in mold and the stairway was full of trash and the ceiling was open to the attic area. They moved us again, this time to a different side of the hotel (had to walk around construction in the rain to access the room), but this room was missing the shower faucet and was just an exposed pipe in the bathroom. It's around 12:30-1am at this point and we get moved to another room directly across the hall from the flooded room - luckily this room was higher up on the slope and hadn't gotten flooded. It would have been a "beach view" room if there wasn't a large piece of siding hanging off the building blocking the view, but at this point we were content with the room we stayed there. The next day the hallway smelled awful from the wet carpet and maintenance wet vacuuming the rooms and there was a power outage for a few hours mid day. That night when we were returning to our room, a man in the parking lot tried to sell us a case of beer and asking for food and money. We were leaving the next day, so I gathered our food and gave it to him, to thank us he asked if we wanted to buy weed or if we could still give him some money... that sums...
Read moreI'm not sure where to start. We arrived there at night, check in was pretty good, nice girl. It looked pretty inside that area. But, our room was way around the back, bottom floor. It seemed ok when we walked in so after bringing our things inside is when we noticed it was very bare bones, floor at entrance had dirt and leaves all over it.. No pamphlets or anything, no phone book. We went to call the office thinking maybe it was forgotten just to realize the phone was unworkable, cracked and a beaten skeleton of a phone. Creepy. So, then we thought, let's turn on the TV. Remote was missing the batteries. Soo we decided to turn on the ac, I thought it might die it was so loud and clanking. Then I thought, being the optimist I am, at least there's a little fridge and microwave so I went to check those out. The fridge worked fine, kept our waters and soda nice and cold. The microwave however, was dirty inside with remnants of food. Yuck. So we sat down.. feeling a bit defeated and thought, well, it will have to do, we got this. As I sat down, I noticed a sticky residue on the wooden chair arms. Obviously not wiped down for God knows how long. Many of the drawers on the dressers and end tables had broken handles and wouldn't open. Oh well, at least it seems like a safe area right? So, we sat there watching netflix on our phone and not 30 minutes later ppl outside our door from other rooms were yelling, cursing, coughing, laughing, slamming doors, revving up trucks, blasting music until 3am. I feel fortunate no shots went flying at least?! We checked out next morning and will never go back. Don't stay here unless you plan to be locked in for the night listening to craziness outside for your only provided...
