Curry Xpress — Restaurant in Biloxi

This was the worst food experience I have ever had. There was no sauce on the tikka masala, and it was a strange pink color. THe tokka masala was also watery. The chickpeas in one container were cold, and in the other barely warm. The tandoori chicken, I think that's what it was supposed to be, was sort of slimy. The yellow dal was spongy and inedible. We ordered spinach and cheese as side and didn't get it, I guess that's why we had two orders with chicken peas when we only asked for one? The rasmalai was a weird texture, unlike any I've had before.

Then there is the appetizer. The picture with the strange chicken tandoori. It's supposed to have samosas, tandoori chicken, veggie pakora, paneer pakora, chicken pakora, and naan. The only one that was even remotely represented was the tandoori chicken. There should have been at least two pieces of naan, since each combo is supposed to die with it. There was one. Also, the rice was not normal Indian rice, it had green beans in it? Everything had the same strange rancid oil taste. I took just a small taste of things, but nothing was good.

Idk who gave this place a 1 because the food here is delicious!!! It’s homemade, it’s so comforting and I have visited this place 3 times since my first visit 3 weeks ago!!!!! Definitely a false rating... just look at the others!!! The owner Zeema is a awesome person and makes you feel welcomed! She literally gave me a great eye opener to Indian food!!!!! I’m so glad I was brought into this place because I know I will be eating this food ALOT!!!!! Very good Indian food in a take out friendly shop. Amazing Tandoori chicken made with dark meat pieces is full of flavor. Excellent sides, in particular the samosas are super flavorful and filling. The rice pudding tastes just like my favorite childhood treat. Very authentic and made with care. The owner is really kind and welcoming, ready to answer any questions.
