I' went to the GZBC in Clarksdale about 10 years ago, so when this one opened I had to check it out. We went for a late lunch, so we didn't get the full musical experience(but we did get front row seats for Mojo Hands) doing their soundcheck. It seemed like we got there right at shift change, but our server K-Dog(she didn't look like a K-Dog, but who am I to argue) stayed with us until we were done which was great of her as was this standup bass the guy was playing. As for the food, the Muddy Waters Crawfish Fritters were good as well as was the Clarksdale Cubano. They ordered ordered the GZBC Burger and Bubba's Boat, but I don't know how good they were because they ate them before I got a chance to get a taste, so I'm fairly sure they were also excellent. We finished off with Ms Ruthie's Pecan Cobbler which didn't disappoint (just a warning that when your server tells you that it's hot, believe them). Can't wait to go back again in the evening when a band is playing to get the full atmosphere of the place.

We went on a Friday night when they had a live performance. We paid an extra general admission fee to stay and see the show after we ate. Well worth it!! We were seated quickly and graciously. They explained that they have open seating and others might join us as we were just 2 people at a 6 top. Fine with us. Good menu items from appetizers and salads to sandwiches and burgers. Excellent side choices and yummy desserts including banana pudding and hot chocolate lava brownie with ice cream. Full bar. Once the music started it was difficult to have a conversation but the music was so good that it didn’t matter. Television screens showed the band so it was easy to see the performance no matter where you sat. There is also a new museum on the second floor dedicated to the uniqueness of Biloxi. Parking is free street parking and somewhat limited but plenty of side streets to park on and have a short walk.

Definitely Grade A++ frim the moment you walk in. Was greeted with good ol southern hospitality. Brittney my waitress was amazing A++ service, Tia the merch Queen A++ service. Brenda another server later in the evening was spot on. Food was good a little on the skimpy side for what I've experienced in Biloxi, but may have been the dish. By no means did that diminish my experience. The music was Jive and the Acoustics of the venue are spot on. Morgann Freeman and his team have it going on here. Will definitely be back. Also a special thanks to the guy (didn't catch his name) who straight up got the tools out to fix the table when i asked for a good ol coaster to correct the wobble. Brittney thank you for an awesome experience ❤️and again Merch Queen Mrs Tia ❤️. You ladies rock. 🤙🏻 cant wait to be back in Biloxi in a few weeks and come back to see yall.

My wife and I visited Ground Zero for their Grammy Night. This place has so much going for it, but it is lacking one crucial element that is desperately needed to make it a must visit small concert venue! I am going to list the pros & cons of Ground Zero Blues Club.

Pros: Ground Zero knocked it out of the park in so many ways. The staff and service was impeccable. The venue itself has a wonderful vibe and a creative decor that puts you in the mood to enjoy live music. The food and drinks were also top notch!

Cons: Sound, sound, sound!!! The sound design for this venue is atrocious! This venue has challenges that require a professional sound reinforcement company to help solve. Every person in the venue, from the people next to the stage to the ones in the very back should have the same audio experience. My wife and I were seated in the back of the venue and we could not hear the music clearly. It was like trying to listen to music through a wall. You can pick out the song, but everything comes through muffled.

The other con is the you have a choice to either purchase an entire 4 top table or general admission. There are no 2 top tables. If you want to have a date night with just your significant other, be prepared to sit in the back and not be able to enjoy the music. I would recommend placing 2 top cocktail tables along the wall opposite the 'porch' as a solution or simply sell each seat at 4 tops individually.

I will say that I walked near the stage and the sound wasn't bad. They did have a single JBL speaker on a stand to try and cover the dead area of the venue which I also checked, but there was nothing coming out of it. The placement of it was dubious at best since there was a high top table directly in front of it and would have made it extremely uncomfortable for anyone sitting there.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with out first visit. While eating dinner before the performance, I browsed through up coming events and saw so many nights we would have loved. I was excited and thought we had finally found the perfect place for us. Then the music started and that excitement turned to anger. I paid $70 for our tickets to enjoy music, but instead we could understand conversations around us better than we could hear the singer and the band!

Ground Zero has so much potential, but I would not recommend this to people who are there for live music until the things listed...

I’m personally giving this restaurant a zero even though they will only let me give them a one. The customer service was horrible. The girl who was supposed to be our server sent another server to take our order and she only run to the table after the other server took our order to get a card on file. The drinks come with no napkins or straws we had to flag down a server to get us napkins and straws. We finished our drinks and no one came over to ask if we wanted another drink it was only like 9:30 pm and they close at 2 am. We were told that the kitchen was closed and we were okay with that. But what I’m not okay with is the is being mistreated when I’m sending my money. So because of my server poor customer service skills I didn’t want to leave a tip but they made me tip a dollar on the pad and I did. The server who is a caucasian female in her mid to late twenties with black hair took it upon herself to swipe my card again and leave herself a tip that was not authorized. Me and my best friend only stayed for that one drink and left because the server we had was rude and nasty to us and she tipped herself twenty dollars of my hard earned money that she didn’t deserve. Make sure if you go there take cash because you have people like her who take from others and that’s sad. That’s called stealing and I will be making a police report. I already called my bank and disputed the charges. Just wanted others...

We will not be back the bartender the short little stocky white guy was rude to us and everyone else!!!! first he acted like he didn't hear us trying to talk to him would not acknowledge us until I finally said exccuuussee me then he looked up like I had interrupted his time. Our Morgan's special sat in the window and when we finally got it maybe 15 mins later it was Luke warm. He never asked how it was. He never asked if we wanted another drink. and he just kind of threw our check at us like we had some how offended him by being there and he couldn't be bothered by us. Our drinks were horrible and I watched him take out the trash and not wash his hands and then go back to making drinks I can't believe you all promote that kind of customer service. Next time we'll go anywhere else. McDonald's has better customer service!! Hes suppost to be a service employee and I was a waitress in my younger days and I would never treat a customer.like that!!! Service is better anywhere else!!!!! Music was nice and the security was nice maybe you all should let him deal with the customers because it's obvious the Little stocky white bartender does...
