To begin, I have been coming here to eat 1-3 times a week for about a year. I have had outstanding service. Also, I tip very well. Today, I went in there and ordered one of my regular meals, BLT with OM egg. Jessica was my server, and she was completely subpar and unprofessional. She asked me if I wanted sweet potato fries or house fries as a side, and I said I wanted house fries. She messed up the order, and I received sweet potato fries instead of house fries. It was unclear whether she simply didn't care that my order was incorrect or if she was more concerned with leaving for the day; either way, her behavior and work ethic were completely unprofessional and inconsistent with the other positive reviews from other patrons. I repeated to her twice that I had requested house fries, not sweet potato fries. Jessica messed up my order and didn't even bring me my food.
Additionally, she didn't check if I needed my water and coffee refilled or confirm if I received the corrected order. She never came by to ask if I needed anything. There was a time when I had to make eye contact and tap the side of my coffee cup to signal I wanted more coffee. She made eye contact with me, saw and acknowledged my request for more coffee. However, as I waited to get more coffee, she left for the day. It was unprofessional of her not to come to the table and introduce me to the wait staff that would take her place. She didn't even provide me the courtesy of saying goodbye or introducing me to the new waiter who would finish with my order. Fortunately, the manager was able to correct her deficiencies and unprofessionalism, as I often spent my time and hard-earned money there, and I also graciously tip my wait staff.
Jessica was the worst server I have ever had, and because of her poor professional decision, I will not return to eat. This is a shame, as it's always one bad apple that ruins it for everyone else. I highly enjoy the food and the outstanding customer service, until today, that is. I will not be returning there to spend my hard-earned money on poor customer service.
The atmosphere, food, and service would have been better if Jessica would not have ruined my dining experience.
Update:
One of the managers called me yesterday, and we discussed this matter. I provided him information regarding what happen and provided him logical explanations based on observations so he could understand the poor and unprofessional behaviors of Jessica that I have to endure. I told him that Jessica needs to be careful of her actions, work etiquette, and tact as one can deduce the appearance of favoritism, nepotism, and/or other rationale as reasoning for poor attitude, poor performance, poor work ethnic, and unprofessional behavior(s). The manager assured me that I will not have such a poor and unprofessional encounter again. Additionally, I alluded to the manager that even if Jessica was having a bad day it does not constitute providing poor service and unprofessional tact.
So, with that being said, I did go there yesterday to eat. Although Jessica was working, she was not my waitress. My waitress Brittany and the manager (Wayne) were on point and provided exceptional unrivaled service to make sure my needs were met. Therefore, I will be eating there again.
Additionally, although the manager called me in response to the issue, I only will be rating the that visit one star because of Jessica.
With that being said, I rate the follow-up call and the service I received yesterday 5 stars!!!

One thing I will say is that the fries are fantastic here. And I had a sip of my husband's cookies and cream milkshake and I was really jealous! Read moreA diner with below average food items. They have a captive audience. I had the Southern fried steak and eggs that tops the menu. The steak tasted overcooked, but eatable. However, the oversized biscuit covered with gravy is the worst biscuit I've ever tasted!!! The biscuit is terrible! I ate here a year ago and it's the same biscuit recipe! UGH! Surely you can tell by all the biscuits left on the plates!!! Are y'all afraid to say something to the baker? The hash browns are good, and the eggs were cooked as ordered. My server, Amber, was okay, but she didn't offer me a coffee to go, as I heard other servers do. My coffee would have made a truck driver smile with glee!
