Really bad service. Just went to get some late-night taco bell as one does, and the experience was awful.
I had to wait when no one was in the drive through (for no reason? I think they were fooling around in the back of the restaurant or something). The young lady taking my order kept ringing up the order incorrectly, so I had to correct her several times. Also, I asked for the fire hot sauce, and they never have it. I have made several explicit requests for this hot sauce and they always say they put it in the bag, but they never do!
I have been to this location before and I have seen a small insect like cockroach (other person in the car with me said it was a cockroach, but I didn't get a good look) enter the drive through window and the guy at the window didn't even seem to care. I honestly don't know why I went back. Also, for some really annoying reason, you can't order the queserito burrito unless it is done through the mobile app which is because they "don't have a button for the item" on the cash register. I believe that this isn't the workers fault, but I wish that they would do something about it.
I ate some of the food but honestly it wasn't that good, and I've had better Taco Bell before. The workers really give the idgaf vibe because I'm getting paid minimum wage, which is acceptable up to a certain standard, but this is just downright egregious. If I could I'd give it a 0-star or a -1 star review. If you are thinking about getting food from this location, just don't. Go down the street and get $5 tacos or a candy bar it's just not worth the hassle. I don't even trust the food anymore and will probably never go to this location again.
If you think I'm biased just look at the other 1-star reviews and you can tell pretty quickly that other people have similar experiences. Furthermore, I bet most of the people don't even spend the 10 minutes like me to write out a review but as you can tell all of these things added up are mildly infuriating and I think I've given them enough chances to make up for their terrible service. If corporate see this, please change management...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusting behavior from the night employees. I'm certain my food was spat in! Thier attitudes were extremely uncalled for and unwarranted. They both need to be reprimanded. After a long flight we came to this taco bell on Cedar Lake. The girl at the box had a bad attitude and did not want to take my order. Told me I needed to do mobile app or doordash. Im sure she thought that would deter me from ordering. I went ahead and placed the mobile order and came back through the line to make her aware at the box. The girl immediately gets an attitude stating we need to get out of her line because we cut her off while she was speaking. I told her I didn't know she was still talking and that I was only trying to make her aware I placed a mobile order. She told me I wasn't getting my food. I pulled up to the window and both girls are extremely combative. I asked for thier names. They gave a smart alek remark. Refused to give me a first name. I asked who the manager was. She slammed the window shut & the 2nd girl flipped us off several times!!! I mean disgusting behavior. I will never ever eat at Taco Bell again. Stop hiring these kids with no manners and not sure how to properly communicate with people. We ended up getting our bag of food. After examining the food, we could see what appeared to be a water substance that was consistent with spit!!!!!!! This is totally unacceptable!!! A director needs to step in and follow up with these employees. They both need to be fired. 2 young girls that were working on the night of the 18th around 11:40 pm. They clearly are unhappy with thier jobs and not willing to provide DECENT customer service. I'll be waiting on a reply with a resolution to how the employees will...
Read moreReview of Local Taco Bell Experience
I recently visited this Taco Bell, and while the experience itself wasn’t the worst, there was one particular interaction that left a sour taste. I inquired about a military discount, which I completely understand is at the discretion of the establishment. However, the way the staff responded was surprising and disappointing. I was told, “We’re right next to a base; we’d lose money.” While I respect their right to set policies as they see fit, this comment struck me as unprofessional and unnecessary.
I’ve always enjoyed Taco Bell, but this interaction gave me a bit of pause. As someone who previously worked in fast food, I know firsthand that the job isn’t always easy, and the pay isn’t the best. However, it was up to me to work toward improving my situation, and I never let that affect how I treated customers. In my experience, even if your job isn’t ideal, it’s essential to take pride in whatever you do. Displaying a dismissive or negative attitude doesn’t just reflect poorly on you; it affects the people around you.
It’s understandable that working in fast food can feel monotonous and frustrating at times, but that’s no excuse for being indifferent or unprofessional toward customers. Everyone has bad days, but dragging others down with negativity isn’t the way forward.
Everyone in the establishment, not just the manager appeared sad, miserable or something. I don’t know their circumstances but if it had to do with the manager I understand and you have my sympathy. Just as a customer it appeared to be a very difficult working environment.
My condolences.
Oh also they missed a toco on my order. That was...
