We had a very disappointing visit to this Buffalo wild wings. The wait on everything was horrendously long. The service was mediocre at best.
In our group was 4 adults, 4 teens, a two year old & a baby.
I had ordered hot water with lemon. I was brought a hot water with the tiniest slice of practically a lemon rind. Then, after ordering and drinking the water we sat for 45 minutes, not even being checked on. We had ordered mozz sticks and cheese curds, which we anticipated to come out as appetizers. They did not. Moreover, almost everyone sat without a drink for over a half an hour.
When my friend finally caught a gentleman who was the manager. He went back to the kitchen "to check" on our food and immediately was able to bring us our entire order. Upon receiving that order, we received a much larger disappointment.
The food tasted like it had sat back there for an extremely long time! Everything was cold. The cheese of the mozz sticks broke in half indicating how cold they were. I paid $10 for 5 cold cheese sticks. That is $2 per cheese stick! The cheese curds were also cold we recieved 14 of them for $11.50. That's 82 cents per cold cheese curd. Then over a dollar a chicken wing for what tasted like barbequed breading. The wings were tiny, cold, had barely any chicken in them and are literally the worst chicken wings I have ever received from a restaraunt! When we received our food we asked for refills because we were very thirsty again by this point.
My refill on my hot water with lemon was only hot water with 0 lemons this time.
When the manager approached our table to ask how everything was my friend said respectfully, "Honestly, everything is cold and tastes like it's been sitting back there for a long time." He then lies to us and says "No it came off immediately and i trayed it and brought it out." We did not engage, because we are well aware food doesn't come off of a grill cold.
We came hungry & thirsty and left hungry & thirsty.
I must say we are not typically ones to complain, if that tells you anything about how bad this experience was.
Save yourself the time, the headache, and your pocketbook and...
Read moreMy family lives in Birch Run, and apart from fast food, there aren't a ton of options when it comes to dining out unless we were to drive to Flint, Saginaw, or Frankenmuth. Since my wife and I work late several nights a week, that is not always practical, so Birch Run is what we've got. My wife and I would eat here 2-3x a month. I'm not big on wings, but their burgers WERE amazing. Perfectly seared/seasoned, tons of flavor, etc. I would honestly put their burgers in my top 5...until recently.
Last visit was about a week or so ago; it was my wife, my 3 kids, and myself. 4 of us ordered burgers but none of us finished it given how bland and greasy they were. Tonight, it was just my wife and I. She couldn't bring herself to order a burger after last time, but as mentioned, I'm not a big fan of wings and hoped it was an isolated experience, so I took a chance. Unfortunately, tonight was worse than last week. I took 1 bite and gagged. The bottom bun was completely saturated in grease, grease/fat was pooled up on the tray, and there as absolutely zero flavor to the meat. The server came by to check on us and I told her, "I can't eat this" (for reasons stated above). She asked if I wanted something else, and I asked that they simply cook a new one without having it so bland/greasy. While waiting for the 2nd attempt to come out, I asked the server if they've started doing something different in the cooking process. She told me "no, but we're really short on cooks and the ones that we have are brand new". Second burger comes out, I take a bite and spit it out immediately. It was SO bad! It put me off my appetite entirely, and I left without eating.
If management sees this review, please have your new cooks Google "Maillard Reaction". There was not a speck of browning on these patties; they were as light gray as it gets without a flake of salt or pepper and literally tasted boiled....
Read moreEvery time I do take out no one is available. The waiters/waitresses just walk pass you multiple times some don't make eye contact others say someone will be with you at which no one comes so on multiple occasions i had to flag down an employee to receive my food even though there where employees behind the counter by my food that was only a few feet away.
Last time I was there my sister and I got Into an argument with the waitress by this time i was so fed up because her reason for not handing us our food was because she had tables, 4 tables to be exact. One of those being a couple that came in mins AFTER us. though she walked passed us multiple times making drinks she said she couldn't do it because she was making drinks for those dinning in and caring for them 1st. Once again had to flag down another employee, she apologized for the 20 min wait, said that she was unaware that we were waiting and that the waitress had an attitude all day. We asked to speak to the manager she also apologized, but when the waitress came over I asked again what was so hard to do something that takes 2 mins and why didn't you inform an employee that we was here. She said once again in front of her manager "I had tables and didn't have time" though she went to the back to get the food for those dinning in soooo....i dont understand why she couldnt let any employees know then....so in other words duty takes over morality? I have to dine in to be a priority, when I pay money just like everyone else? It got very ugly words was said and voices was raised. Manager just stood there allowing it to happen as if it was common. She again apologized. All could have easily been avoided if 1. Someone was at the take out counter. And 2. The waitress just informed someone we were...
