Excellent meal! The server was awesome, especially with making a few changes to the menu. Very attentive, awesome suggestion. They got our meal spot on! I decided on the turkey avocado creole with sweet potato fries. I love mine extra crispy, and she was able to ask the kitchen for this accommodation- so good! When we pulled in, we noticed all the cars and we were a little worried about the wait, but the place is huge! Definitely a sports bar with a lot of seating. Love that! They have a kid's menu as well, and my kids were super excited that they got ice cream included. Bonus! They had a variety of different beers on tap which was great. We were able to try a few new ones. Also, the service and food came very quickly. Overall a really great place! Side note, my daughter who's usually pretty cold was a little chilly. Maybe bring a sweater/sweatshirt for somebody who gets cold easily. Totally understand that you want it cooler inside in summer.

I’ve been here many times and it’s always a great experience, but this visit truly stood out. Not just because of the food (which is always amazing), but because of the outstanding service. Tonight, the service was hands down the best my family and I have ever received. Our server, Noah, went above and beyond. We never had to ask for a single thing because he anticipated everything before we even thought to ask. He checked in with us regularly, kept our drinks full, cleared the table promptly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. What really impressed us was how attentive he was without ever feeling intrusive. On top of all that, Noah did it all with a genuine smile and a positive attitude, which made the whole experience even better. It’s rare to come across service this exceptional, and it truly made our night. Thank you, Noah, for making our dinner such a wonderful experience.

It's been a long time since I've been to PJ's and it's really gone downhill. I got a wagyu roast beef sandwich with fries I got about 20 french fries and a bun with one slice of beef and one slice of cheese and then a little container full of a jew. I was disappointed for the $27.50 and that included the price for the for the island breeze drink which is technically just a Bahama Breeze they're not using the name though I felt like I had been ripped off. I probably will not go back there are a lot better places in the area to go for food and I don't need to try to make the place any better than it is because it was great 6 months ago and now it just is pathetic

We love to go to PJ’s, when there’s a great game to watch. We always order several appetizers, more then we need, have a few beers, and watch a game on one of their dozens of TV’s. It makes for such a fun, relaxing, Sunday evening out before the hustle of the week gets started. My Girl and I always come home with plenty of leftovers, because we order such a variety of apps! So delicious!! If you go to the West Chester location which is just off 202 near the Giant grocery plaza as you’re headed south towards Wilmington. Parking is easy and plentiful. Also, do me a favor, you can signup to be out on their waitlist, right on their website, if you suspect its going to be a packed house (maybe when the Eagles play the Cowboys), but I can tell you, every time I think I’ll need to be on the waitlist, it has always said, no need to jump inline, there’s no wait right now, YES!! This is definitely not the case with the PJ’s in Downingtown. I feel like every time I go there on a Sunday, they have a wait. I guess it’s never been terribly long wait, but definitely expect a wait at Downingtown if it’s Sunday and DEFINITELY if the Eagles are playing. Your going to wait 10-15 at min.

One last tip I would really appreciate if you could help me with!! I seriously never ever leave reviews, but I thought for all you West Chester’ites or West Chester’ians out there that I wanted to help benefit by steering you to the no wait, ultra fast service of the South West Chester location of PJ’s, just off 202, instead of missing the first 1/4 of play because your waiting to get a seat at Downingtown…. Please do me this favor, pretty Please. Ask to be put in Mallory’s section so that she’s your server! No, I’m not related to her, but the last few times my special lady friend and I were there, we got lucky enough to have Mallory as our server! Like I mentioned, we always just order a bunch of appetizers and a couple of Beers, then it’s not uncommon for us to sit at the same high-top and watch an entire game. As you’re aware, watching a whole football game takes hours. In so many other sports restaurants, tell me if you know what I’m talking about, I always feel super pressured to pay the bill and vacate the table so it can be flipped to a new customer. I know you know what I’m talking about, when the waiter or waitress comes to your table ever 10-15 minutes and asks, “would you like your check now?”… Gosh I hate that! It’s like, you’re a sports pub and bar, people come here to get food, have drinks and watch a game.. please stop trying to shew us out of here!!

Not Mallory though!! No she doesn’t ignore us, but she swings by every so often just to clear some unneeded plates, silverware and to see how low are beers are. As a matter of fact, I’ve never hit the bottom of my pint with out her already have asked if I’m ready for another, or, checking to see if we need to order anymore apps. Again, this may be the first official review I’ve left about any experience, good, bad or Ugly. And, No… Mallory is not a family member or friend that I’m trying to build up. She just a super sweet tiny waitress, who works her butt off, always meets us with a smile, has the absolute intention to make our Sunday evening as relaxing and entertaining as possible can be, and she has always made us feel welcome and DEFINITELY NEVER RUSHED!! All you need to do is sit back, relax, enjoy all the super delicious appetizers, order one of there very many delicious local craft beers, and enjoy whatever game your there to watch!

I sincerely hope the tip has helped!! No go let Mallory take care of your dinner and drinks, while you enjoy your game and hopefully the company of a...

My husband and I stopped in while traveling from out of state. PJ's is a clean, spacious, energetic place. We were greeted with a smile and seating immediately. The food was delicious! We loved that PJ's has a broad menu, but also that it was not the same old hum drum menu items that you see at other restaurants. I am a taco lover so, of course, I had to try the smash burger tacos and they did not disappoint. They were served fresh and they were perfect!

Aside from the delicious food, I want to give a shout out to our server, Chloe. Chloe was terrific! First, she was friendly - and with a smile - I mean come on - great service with a smile is lost at times and it really does go a long way. Chloe answered our questions, offered menu suggestions, told us about the Pub Club (how to earn points toward future visits - which we would have taken advantage of if we weren't just traveling through and lived near a PJ's), but the thing that impressed us the most was that Chloe never stopped - she stayed busy with other tasks when she wasn't taking care of guests.

Great service! Great food! A clean, energetic environment! What more could you ask for from a dining experience!

We will definitely be back the next time we are in...

Love it there at the West Chester location. Antonia was our server for the night. She took our order quickly. We ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad & an order of Prezel Bites to split for our appetizers. I had the Salmon w/Rice & Broccoli & my sister had the PJ's JD Burger w/ Fries. We also had a Cider Beer each. Antonia made sure that our Apps came out way before our main meal was delivered. We really appreciated that she allowed enough time for us to enjoy our appetizers. Her attentiveness through our time at PJ Whelihan's was fabulous & she came back enough times to see how our meals were & if we needed anything. On one of her next to last of checking on us, she asked if we were thinking of desert. We were full, but decided to treat ourselves & split one. Again Antonia asked how everything was & we responded very good. The meals both came out Hot & Delicious. ANYONIA is FABULOUS!

12-15-2024 Antonia is Fabulous. We happend to get her as our server again & she didn't disappoint us. We had Pretzel Bites🥨, Potato Soup 🍲 & Burgers for dinner🍔. She came often to see if we needed anything. She even made a suggestion on dessert because we couldn't choose. We went with her suggestion the"Oreo Cheesecake." Our bill was...
